Perfect replacement. The Thule carrier uses this to stop the rack when it is released. As such, it takes some hits. If you're not careful (or your kids aren't), then this can crack.

I broke this piece by lowering the rake with 2 bikes on it. My mistake but would be better if it was a better design or material. Otherwise it works fine.
So happy i was able to find this part for my 20 year old bike rack, restoring it’s functionality

its working well. You have to be sure that there is not excess pressure put on the shaft when it is in the 45 deg angle position. I had this part break twice. Once when the automatic garage door closed on it and once when I lowered it from the 90 deg position with bikes on the system.
