I have forgotten to put these in the hole in the bike rack and they break off. So I ordered two from the only place I have been able to find them. Great service and prompt delivery - even on a small order. I'll remember to put them in the hole in the future
Thule had no idea what this part was! Their manual didn't even list it. Since the original part wasn't tethered, along the way it popped out and disappeared.
You guys saved the day. The replacement model even has a tether/leash, so it can't go missing over a road bump, too.

Lost my hold open pin for my Thule bike rack. This replacement fit like a glove and is made of high quality material that, in my opinion, is of equal or higher quality to the original.
Works great
The metal eyelet inside diameter is too small for my screw to mount on my Thule swing away. I modified it by drilling it. I did not want to spend more money nor time to get a smaller size set of screw and locking nut.
