Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this replacement U clamp bracket for your Roadmaster anti-sway bar. Now, this replacement U clamp bracket is basically the piece that holds your Roadmaster anti-sway bar bushing in place. Think of it as the clamp that keeps everything snug, so the sway bar can actually do its job of reducing body roll and giving you better handling. Now, this is going to fit both front and rear Roadmaster anti-sway bars and those specific sway bars, whether it's the front or the rear, is identified by the specific model number there for you on your screen. So if you have one of those, this is going to be exactly what you need.
Now, you need to replace this if the old one is happen to be, happens to be bent, cracked, rusted, or just not holding the bushing securely anymore. As you probably know when that happens, the sway bar is gonna get loose, which can cause clunking noises, uneven wear on the bushings, and most importantly, less stability when you're driving.
