Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a quick look at this replacement front cover for the idler head on your Solera awning. This is going to be an exact replacement from Lippert, which is the company that creates the Solera awning. So if you have a plain head on your awnings, whether it's a 12 volt electric or a crank style manual awning, as long as it's that Solera brand, this is gonna fit right in place of that original. So no worries about compatibility issues or anything like that. Now, keep in mind, this is for your idler head, which is when you're looking at your awning, it's the one that's on the left.
So make sure you're getting the right component for you. And this is just the front cover. The rear cover is sold separately. We do have that available here at etrailer.com as well. So that'll fit right in place there so that you have a full head unit again.

Yes, it worked out OK but as others have said it was highway robbery on Lippert part for a piece of plastic not a trailer
When purchasing front and back cover for the Solera awning head, why are the 6 needed screws included? These 2 pieces cost nearly $[XX] and the proper 6 screws to connect are not included. Excellent service and high quality product but I am blown away that the screws are not included!
Replaced this and the mating front piece. Exact fit, which is should have because it came from manufacturer - etrailer is only the retailer.
Got three out of five stars because neither part came with screws. You might have these from the factory install, but you might not.
The front cover was broken and this part fit perfectly to our existing back cover. You have to open your awning to access the screws on the back cover. It would be nice to get simple directions saying you have to open your awning to access, that there are 6 screws in the back cover that you have to remove. It was pretty simple but at first glance we were not sure if there were screws or posts that fit into the front piece. I'm giving this 4 stars because there were no instructions.

It a great replacement, when one these caps is damaged it also bends the bolts that adheres it. Those bolts/ screws are impossible to find that size. I would like to see the hardware included.
When I brought my new trailer home for the first time I ripped a cover off my awning. I got no help from my dealer and found e trailer. Connie was great. She even walked around the back lot to be sure she sent me the right part thanks and I’m sure I will be back.
