Hi, everyone, Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a real quick look together at a Replacement Prop Rod for the Extang Endure ALX Tonneau Covers. So, folks, really not much more to say about that other than this is a direct replacement part from Extang, so you can be sure it works with that ALX Tonneau Cover, and obviously you got your red button here that's gonna help release everything, and then these two ends are both gonna pop onto a ball. That socket there as they call it, will pop into the ball on the other side of the tonneau cover. Let's get a quick measurement just so you can kinda match up dimensions. 18 1/4 inches overall.
If you get somewhere between that, maybe 18 3/8. Within an eighth of an inch there, I think you should be fine depending on if yours is bent or something like that, you know what I mean So, again, pretty simple idea. Just simply pop it onto the balls and the other parts on your truck, and you should be good to go. Again, this is gonna secure the cover in the open position for loading and unloading once you've got that tonneau cover open.
