Hi everyone. Steven here with etrailer. Today we're taking a quick look together at a replacement breakaway switch for the Demco Air Force One and the Stay-In-Play dual braking systems. So folks, a simple product, again, just a simple breakaway switch. As you probably already know, you got your power and ground wires going here. You got the bracket to hold everything in place.
And then of course you have your emergency breakaway that you would connect your safety cable to or your breakaway cable to. And then in the event that it does break away, it's gonna automatically apply the brakes to the towed vehicle to stop safely in the event of an issue. And then of course, this is reusable. You just simply (device popping) pop it back in and you're ready to go. Now they do give you a big warning on the tag here about never use this as a parking brake and then never leave it out for more than 20 minutes, 'cause obviously it's gonna keep sending power and using power from that battery and you don't wanna drain that battery.
So again, this is only to be used maybe for testing if you need to pull it out to test something or let it be used in the real way, meaning God forbid there's a breakaway, that it gets pulled out that way. So a very simple device. Just a replace in the breakaway. Again, it works for the Demco Air Force Ones or the Stay-In-Play dual supplemental braking systems. And that will wrap up our quick look together folks.
I'm Steven. Thanks for watching.
