Hello, neighbor, Steven here with etrailer.com. Folks, today we're looking together at this Erickson Kinetic Recovery Rope, 1/2 inch thick by 20 feet long, rated for 3,630 pounds. Now, folks, this high-strength nylon rope will employ the kinetic energy built up to recover a stuck vehicle. It's perfect for cars, Jeeps, and buggies, and it does come with this mesh bag that you see here, so that's gonna be breathable for putting it back in maybe if it's wet or muddy or something, it'll help it dry out. But if you can, let it dry out before you put it back, but that bag is a nice touch as well. Now, it does stretch to prevent shock, jarring, caused by using like a static tow strap or chain.
So, it's gonna help prevent any of that. The built-in loops here on both ends are nice and big, can fit pretty much my whole hand through there, wide and everything. And they're gonna let you attach shackles to D-rings on the vehicles, and if you use multiple ropes together, you can string 'em together with soft shackles, and those will create the length you need to get a full length as needed. And rope is quick and easy to set up for recovery, it's lightweight. And again, this is all nylon-coated, so it's gonna increase the abrasion resistance of the rope itself.
Again, 20 feet long, 1/2 inch thick, rated for 3,630 pounds, and it does have a stretch rate of 28%. I don't know if you can see it stretching there, but stretches pretty good. And again, everything on the ends has been super stitched up for maximum strength, and the black cloth over the top of that just helps it not get abrasive on each other. It helps it last a lot longer as well. So, again, then once you're done, let it dry out, stick it back in the bag that it came with, this nice mesh bag, complete with zippers and handles to carry it, and then you're on your way.
