Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a real quick look at this replacement cutting edge for your Boss snowplow. Now, this is going to replace the cutting edge or scraper blade on the bottom of your Boss snowplow. As you know, this is going to mount to the bottom of your blade to break apart ice and scrape away packed snow, while you're clearing parking lots. This is going to be comparable to the Boss part number that you see there on your screen, STB03071.
And this is made here in the USA and it is constructed of C1090 carbon steel for premium strength and heavy-duty impact resistance. As you can see, this does have a black powder coat finish. It's gonna do a great job of resisting corrosion. And on your screen, I'm popping up a diagram, if you will, of the measurements that are going to prove very helpful for you. So as you can see, this is 90 inches long, it's six inches tall, and not indicated there on the diagram, but the thickness of this is 3/8 of an inch thick.
You have eight holes for mounting, and the distance between the holes on center is 12 inches. And there's some other measurements there as well. You can refer back to this diagram on this product page and this will accept mounting holes of 1/2 inch diameter. They're gonna be 1/2 inch diameter carriage bolts. This does not include that hardware, so you would have to pick that up separately.
If you look under the related product section on this product page, you're going to see that we do carry those carriage bolts, four Boss cutting edges. So again, 1/2 inch diameter carriage bolts. This weighs about 55 pounds or so just to kind of give you an idea of the weight.
