Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this Meyer coil cartridge valve. Now this is an OEM replacement solenoid coil that's used inside the hydraulic pump on certain Meyer snowplows. This is not a full pump or a major mechanical part. It's a small electrical component that's going to play a big role in how your plow moves.

So as you probably know, inside the pump, there are hydraulic valves that control things like raising the blade or angling it left and right. This coil is what energizes one of those valves. When the operator presses a button on the controller, this coil's going to activate, which allows a hydraulic fluid to move through the system and make the blade move. Now this part is commonly used on Meyer units like the E-72 and some of the home plow hydraulic setups. So if your plow is having trouble with the function not responding, for example, it won't lift or angle consistently, this coil could be one of the components that needs to be replaced.

So this is a genuine Meyer electrical coil that's gonna help your hydraulic pump direct fluid so the plow can operate. It's gonna be a pretty much a simple plug in and go part, designed specifically for those certain Meyer pumps, making this a reliable replacement when that original coil fails.
