Specs:
Light up the night with a Luminix LED light bar that contours to your vehicle. This lightweight, extremely low-profile bar features 27 fully potted Nichia LEDs for bright, high-quality light. The curved bar's slim design lets you mount it on your roof, bumper, or behind your grille.
Curved Radius Matches the Curve of Your Vehicle
The 6-degree, 1-1/2" offset curved radius of this light bar matches the natural curve of your vehicle's front end for a custom look. The curve of the bar also distributes light for more peripheral lighting.
Narrow 15-Degree Spot Beam
Each LED has a chrome-backed, 15-degree focus lens to concentrate the beam for more focused light. This narrow beam pattern is great for seeing at a distance.
High-Quality Light Output
Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. This LED light bar has the capability to produce 10,800 lumens of high-quality, bright light.
Cool-colored light, especially that with a high color temperature, promotes driver alertness, as opposed to warm-colored light, which promotes relaxation. Color temperature is based on chromaticity, which refers to the quality of a color rather than its luminance. This cool-colored light bar has a 6,000 K color temperature, which allows for bright light with high-quality color so that you not only see the world around you, but you're truly aware of it.
Built-In Safeguards
This light bar has high-quality LEDs with 50,000-hour life spans. These LEDs are more efficient than other lower-grade LEDs on the market, which means that they last longer and burn brighter.
The solid aluminum construction of the light bar offers greater cooling and a higher heat tolerance when compared with extruded aluminum lights. The light bar also has thermal control chips built in to help prevent overheating. In addition, integrated over/under voltage protection keeps the light operating at the correct voltage.
Durable, Waterproof Construction
This lightweight LED light bar is constructed of rustproof, black anodized 6061 billet aluminum for durability and style. The LEDs are fully potted for protection, especially during off-road use. And the bar meets industry standards for dust and moisture protection.
Installation
Two sets of universal, adjustable, black powder coated stainless steel mounting brackets (1 tall set and 1 short set) are included with the light bar for mounting the bar to flat surfaces. The universal brackets let you install the bar upright on the roof, on the front of your vehicle, or on the underside of the hood. The included stainless steel mounting hardware keeps the light firmly in place.
The included wiring harness connects to your vehicle's battery for power and plugs into the light with an industry-standard Deutsche connector. An on/off toggle switch is included as well, and it is illuminated so you can easily see it. Unlike other lights, there is no electrical hum or noise created when this light bar is turned on.
Putco offers a variety of accessories for a more customized light bar setup. Application-specific mounting brackets are available for a better fit and a more streamlined look. The wireless remote control kit (P8770F - sold separately) lets you activate the light bar from outside your vehicle. And the wind diffuser can be cut down to the size of the bar and installed on the bottom of the light to help eliminate wind noise and vibration.

Today we're going to review part number P10033. This is the Putco High Power 27-LED Luminix Curved Off-Road Light Bar. It's 81 watts, and it has a 15-degree spot pattern. This part number includes everything show here on the table: the light bar itself, the wiring harness and illuminated switch, the long- and short-mounting brackets. The hardware is already installed on the end here; a nice set of detailed instructions. This is a curved low-profile LED light bar, which delivers a bright-focus light. The beam pattern it gives off is a 15-degree spot beam.
It's created by the chrome-backed focus lenses. It is a very slim design, let's you install this light bar in tight spaces. You can see it has curve to it. It's a 6-degree 1-1/2" offset radius, which will match the curve of your vehicle. Being curved, this curve bar will spread the light out for more peripheral lighting. It does have high-quality light output from a single row of 27 3-watt Nichia LEDs.
This light bar can be turned on and off with a wireless remote if you'd like. we do sell that separately on our website. It's listed on this product page as a related product. It's part number P8770F. This light bar does use quality LEDs with a 50,000-hour lifespan. It does have some built-in safe guards.
They have thermal-control chips, which help prevent the LEDs from overheating. It has over- and under- voltage protection, which will keep the light bar operating at the correct voltage. It is a durable, waterproof, corrosion-resistant construction. It has a nice black, anodized, billet aluminum housing, which is very lightweight and rustproof. The mountain brackets, they are black-powder coat stainless steel mounting brackets, which will resist corrosion. The LEDs in the light bar are fully potted to protect the fragile components of the LEDs. It does use industry-standard protection against dust and moisture. It's a very easy installation with these included parts.
This light can mount on your roof, behind your grill, on your bumper. It gives a nice, rugged look. Again, has the two sets of adjustable mounting brackets, tall and short. Basically, you just unscrew that. Your bracket would install right on the end there. Then you attach it wherever you need to on your vehicle. We do also sell some custom mounting brackets, again, as related products of this product page. Again, they are sold separately. This wiring harness has an illuminated switch that connects to it. It also uses the industry-standard Deutsch connector. Over here, I'm sorry. There's your Deutsch connector right over here. What's nice about the Deutsch connector, it's a triple-seal connector. When you go to plug this into your light bar, it gives you a nice, snug connection. Push it into place. It snaps into place and gives you a weatherproof seal for connecting to your light bar. To remove it, just push down on the tab and pull it out. The wiring harness does have the relay in the middle. On this side, it has the 3 wires, red, blue, and black, which will attach to the 3 prongs on the illuminated switch, again, the Deutsch connector on this end. Then the extra wire they have here is for the power. It has a inline fuse holder. You want to make sure it comes with the included 15-amp fuse. Then your 2 wires, your red is your power wire, your black is your ground wire. That's what would connect to your 12-volt power supply. This part is made in the USA. The specs on it is 27 LEDS at 3 watts each, so a total of 81 watts. Power draw is 6.75 amps. Input voltage, 12 volts to 36 volt DC. This light bar has an operating temperature range of -100 degree Farenheit to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. It does have a limited 2-year warranty. The brightness on the light is 10,800 lumens. Again, the beam it gives off is a narrow 15-degree spot beam. The color temperature of the light itself is 6,000 degrees Calvin. The dimensions, the length is 31-1/2" long, 1-1/2" tall, and 3/4" deep. What I'm going to do now is we're going to hook the switch up and plug it into a 12-volt supply to show you how bright the lights are and then try to show the pattern on the back wall to give you an idea. Let's first plug in the Deutsch connector. Okay, got that plugged in. Then what we want to do is let's hook up your switch. Now on this switch, again, the directions will show you all this. Basically, there's 3 prongs and they're numbered 1, 2, and 3. They tell you which color wire, so you do the red wire to 1, the blue goes to the middle 2, and the black would go to the outside 3 prong. Now that that's all hooked up, last thing we need to do is take the cord with the inline fuse in it. The red wire is power, black is ground. So we'll go ahead and hook up the power to it. Okay, now we'll take the ground wire, make sure we get a good, clean ground just like that, and make sure they don't touch each other. Then what I'm going to do is go ahead and turn on the 12-volt power. Then we'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. Now I'm going to turn this on just to show you. The switch, you can see, is illimunated. You can see the red dot here that's an illuninated rocker switch. That's off. That's on. You can see it gives a good, bright light. Again, it's 27 3-watt LEDS, so 81 watts total. Then I'm going to try to swing this around just to put it on the back wall. To give you an idea, you can see the pattern that it does give. It's the 15 degree to narrow 15 degree spot pattern. Then again, we'll just go ahead and turn that off, turn our power off, turn our overhead lights back on. That should do it for the review on part number P10033, the Putco Putco High Power 27-LED Luminix Curved Off-Road Light Bar with 81 watts and 15-degree spot pattern. .
