Specs:
Light up the night with this Luminix LED block lamp. This lightweight, extremely low-profile bar features 9 fully potted Nichia LEDs for bright, high-quality light. Mount the lamp recessed in your grille or bumper for a sleek look.
Narrow 15-Degree Spot Beam
Each LED has a chrome-backed, 15-degree focus lens to concentrate the beam for more focused light. This narrow beam pattern is great for seeing at a distance.
High-Quality Light Output
Lumens are used to measure the amount of usable light that is put out by a light source. This LED lamp has the capability to produce 3,600 lumens of high-quality, bright light.
Cool-colored light, especially that with a high color temperature, promotes driver alertness, as opposed to warm-colored light, which promotes relaxation. Color temperature is based on chromaticity, which refers to the quality of a color rather than its luminance. This cool-colored light has a 6,000 K color temperature, which allows for bright light with high-quality color so that you not only see the world around you, but you're truly aware of it.
Built-In Safeguards
This lamp has high-quality LEDs with 50,000-hour life spans. These LEDs are more efficient than other lower-grade LEDs on the market, which means that they last longer and burn brighter.
The solid aluminum construction of the lamp offers greater cooling and a higher heat tolerance when compared with extruded aluminum lights. The lamp also has thermal control chips built in to help prevent overheating. In addition, integrated over/under voltage protection keeps the light operating at the correct voltage.
Durable, Waterproof Construction
This lightweight LED block lamp is constructed of rustproof, black anodized 6061 billet aluminum for durability and style. The LEDs are fully potted for protection, especially during off-road use. And the lamp meets industry standards for dust and moisture protection.
Installation
This block light is designed to mount flush in your bumper or grille. The template that is included in the instructions will make the required cutting easier. Stainless steel mounting hardware is also included to keep the light firmly in place.
The included wiring harness connects to your vehicle's battery for power and plugs into the light with an industry-standard Deutsche connector. An on/off toggle switch is included as well, and it is illuminated so you can easily see it. Unlike other lights, there is no electrical hum or noise created when this lamp is turned on.

Today we're going to review part number P10011. This is the Putco high power nine-LED flush-mount Luminex block lamp. Has 27 watts and a 15-degree spot pattern. Now this part number includes everything shown here on the table. Includes the block lamp itself, wiring harness, an illuminated switch, the mounting hardware, and a set of detail instructions. Now this is a low-profile LED block lamp that delivers bright focus light. Has a 15-degree spot beam which is created by these chrome-backed focus lenses.
It is a flush-mount design, delivers a sleek, unobtrusive look. Has a high quality light output from a single row of nine three-watt Nichia LEDs. These are quality LEDs with a 50,000-hour lifespan. This does have some built-in safeguards. Uses thermal control chips to help prevent the LEDs from overheating and it has over and under voltage protection, which keeps the lamp operating at the correct voltage.
It is a durable, waterproof, corrosion-resistant construction. Has a black anodized billet aluminum housing, which is very lightweight and rustproof. The LEDs themselves are fully potted to protect the fragile components and it has industry-standard protection against dust and moisture. This light can mount in your grill, on your bumper. The hardware is included. Now it is a flush-mount so if you want it to be a flush-mount there is cutting required.
Now it does come with this wiring harness. The nice thing with the wiring harness, comes with a illuminated switch. On the one end it also has a nice Deutsch connector. The nice thing about that, it has the triple seal on it so when you go to plug it into your lamp, when you go to push it in there's a very snug, tight fit. Locks into place, gives you a nice weatherproof seal. Now this part is made in the USA.
Now on the wiring harness itself it has the relay right here and then three sets of wires coming out. One set would have the three pigtails with the female connectors. Those would plug into your illuminated switch. The other side is the one with the Deutsch connector on it. Then the other wires would be your power and ground wires. You can see on the red power wire does have an inline fuse holder with a 15-amp fuse included. I am going to hook this up in a minute just to show you how it connections and to show you how bright the light is. Now a few specs on this: it is nine LEDs at three watts each, so 27 watts. The power draw is 2.25 amps. Input voltage is 12 volts to 36 volts DC. The operating temperature range for this light is -100 Fahrenheit up to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. Does have a limited two-year warranty. The light output on this, the brightness is 3,600 lumens. The beam it gives off again is a narrow 15-degree spot. The light that it gives off has a color temperature of 6,000 degrees Kelvin. Just to give you a couple dimensions, the overall length on the front is about 11-7/8". On the back, the cutout portion if you're going to do a flush-mount it's going to be right at about 10-1/2". The height on it is going to be about 2-1/4" tall and the depth on it is 3/4". What I'm going to do right now, let's go ahead and hook it up to the . got a 12-volt power supply. We'll hook it up to show you the brightness of the lights. First what we're going to do is take the Deutsch connector, we'll go ahead and plug it in. Got that all connected. Then on the other wires with the three wires, has a red, blue, and a black. Basically your detailed instructions will show you how to connect this, but on your illuminated switch right here, it's a rocker switch. Has three tabs and they're numbered one, two, and three. There we go: one, two, and three. What you want to do is it will tell you to put the red onto the one. The blue goes to the middle or the number two. The black will go onto the number three. Your switch is all hooked up, Deutsch connector's all connected. We'll take our power wire, take the red one with the fuse in it and hook that to our 12-volt power wire. Then the black wire, we'll go ahead and hook that to our ground wire. There we go with those all connected. Now what I'm going to do is go ahead and turn on the power. Then we'll go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. Now with the lights off we'll go ahead and push the illuminated switch and you can see the lights. I also wanted to show you here's your illuminated switch. If you can see the red do not right there, it's a rocker switch. When you turn it off, turn it on, you can see where the switch is. You can see the nine lEDs, three watts each, 27 watts. Then I'm going to reverse this so just turn this around and try to show you the pattern on the back wall. You can see it gives you a 15-degree narrow spot beam pattern. We'll go ahead and turn off the lights, go ahead and turn on our overhead lights, turn off our power. That should do it for the review on part number P10011, the Putco high power nine-LED flush-mount Luminex block lamp, 27 watts and a 15-degree spot pattern. .
