Made of rust-resistant powder coated steel, these straight-style, custom-fit step bars have rugged square edges, and their mounting brackets are hidden for a seamless look. Extra-wide step pads cover the oversize bars to provide good traction.

Westin's R7 nerf bars make the trip from your vehicle's door to the ground a smooth transition. The bars' straight-style design and squared edges offer a rugged look, and the 7" width provides greater stability than narrower round bars.
Injection-molded covers conceal the mounting brackets used to install the step bars for a seamless, from-the-factory appearance.
Extra-wide step pads allow you and your passengers to safely step out of your vehicle. The grooves in the UV-resistant, injection-molded polymer pads provide traction and direct water away from the surface of the bars to help prevent slipping.
No need to worry about rust on these nerf bars. Not only are they constructed of rust-resistant powder coated steel, but the black molded plastic endcaps also keep out moisture to help prevent internal corrosion.
Installing the bars is easy. A mounting kit is included, featuring custom brackets that bolt onto existing holes in your vehicle's rocker panels - no drilling necessary.

Hi, this is Scott with etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Westin R7 Series of Step Boards. So today I ended up putting these on this truck and I wasn't sure about them at first when I started taking 'em out of the box, but now that I've got 'em put on there, I really like how stable they are and the footing that it has. Unlike the traditional three-inch to five-inch width Nerf bars, these are gonna be the seven-inch wide and these are gonna give you a really stable foothold when you're getting in and out of your truck. One of the nice things about it is it's really solid too. It doesn't have any give at all when you're pushing down on it and you're stepping in. You don't feel any flex like some of the others do.
This is a really solid mount and a really easy installation as well. Instead of being your traditional round step, this is gonna be more of a rectangular design, so it's gonna be a little bit more sleek and a little more modern looking. To me, this actually looks more like an OEM style step to me. Another thing that's really nice about it is you don't have any of your brackets showing at all. It's gonna have covers for that, so it really, everything kind of blends in and gives it a sleek look.
And for traction here, we have a flat surface, unlike some of them that have more of a rounded surface where you kind of feel a little unstable. This is more of your flat style that has more of the OEM groove style grip pattern to it. It has a really good grip to it, and with it being seven inches wide, it's really stable and you're not gonna lose traction as much when it's wet because you have a little more footing there to have your foot on and a little more surface area. So it really gives it a much safer feel when you're stepping in. Another thing I like about this rectangular design, it's gonna give you a little bit more rocker panel protection, rocks and debris and mud and stuff flying up.
This is going to give you a lot more protection over the round tube style because you have your rectangle style that give us more width, which is also gonna add for more protection for our rocker panels here. It's gonna help get away from chips, rocks coming up, hitting this, dents. So this is really cool that it gives us a little bit more protection on the side of our truck. The Westin R7's gonna give you a vehicle-specific OEM look. These are gonna be available in the ones that we have here, which is our black powder coated finish.
And it does have a nice texture to it for grip, or they are gonna be available in a polished stainless steel as well, so you can get the ones that will look the best on your vehicle and give you that OEM look that you're looking for. It fit perfect. I really like it.
The steps look good, however there could be more drop, for an F250 they still give you a pretty tall step. The instructions were pretty bad, with different brackets you had to figure out which went where the instructions did not say.
Really nice. Everything was packaged well no scratches. Easy to follow directions.
Fits the truck well and resembles the factory bed steps. These steps are very sturdy and the finish on them looks great.
I really like these bars. I installed on a regular cab. They were long enough to reach to rear wheel wells.Had to fabricate reinforcement for rear bracket, but they work well and make side of bed access easy now. They are the black ones. All the front brackets attached to factory provided holes.

They work great. Absolutely no issues and really look good on truck. We love the depth of them over the shallower running boards available. Good rigidity, with no bowing when ascending into cab, even my 220 lbs. Nicely finished, and no deterioration of finish. I have been impressed with Westin quality, having previously owned a ss brush guard which was just as well made, even the accessory I purchased from them to have my front parking sensors still work.
