Videos are provided as a guide only. Refer to manufacturer installation instructions and specs for complete information.
Today on our 2015 GMC Sierra 3500 we'll be taking a look at and installing the Husky liners custom molded rear mudflaps. Part number HL57871. Now this is what they look like once they're installed. The Husky liners mudflaps ate going to protect your vehicle and the vehicles behind you from mud, rocks, and flying debre that may be kicked up off the road. These mudflaps will also ensure the trailer that you are pulling or towed vehicle or boat last longer and look better. These mudflaps are going to contour and form fit to the exterior vendors of your vehicle for maximum coverage. Longer and wider than most OEM flaps. Full tire coverage, and a custom fit to your vehicle. Black and textured finish for a sleek and stylish design for your vehicle.
Now let's go ahead and see how they're installed. Now we'll go ahead and locate our sheet metal screws in the back of the vendor. We're going to remove these 2 T30 screws. Go ahead and take some rubbing alcohol and clean the area where the adhesive is going to be placed. This will ensure that there's no debre, bugs, splatter, dirt, mud or any other items stuck here before we go ahead and place on that film. Now we'll take a mixture of 1 pint of water and 4 drops of dish washing soap. Mix it up real good and spray the adhesive area.
We'll take the adhesive part of the film and place it under the vehicle. Lining it up on the bottom along the edge all the way up to the top. Now using a sponge or squeegee we'll go ahead and pull out all the air bubbles. You can make one out of a card and some paper towel if you wish, unless you have a sponge or squeegee laying around. We'll just dry up the rest of that residue and application mixture. Now we'll go ahead and apply our mudguard or mudflap to the back of the vehicle using those factory screws that we removed. Go ahead and drill out 8 inch pilot hole in our vendor so we can place in our screw.
Now we'll go ahead and place in our vendor screw in the hole that we just drilled. This will ensure extra redudity 00:03:21 and now we'll do it for view and installation of the Husky liners rear mudflaps part number HL57871 on our 2015 GMC Sierra 3500.
