Make docking at the end of your day quick and simple. This dock line floats, resists sun and mildew, and comes with a pre-spliced loop, so it's perfect for mooring your jet ski, pontoon, or fishing boat.
Skip the knot-tying tutorials. This rope comes with a pre-spliced eye, which is just a fancy way of saying "just hook it and go." Whether you're tying up solo or handing it off to a buddy, it's quick, secure, and newbie friendly.
No more wrestling with heavy ropes. The single-braided design is simple and easy to store. It might not be as soft as a double braid, but it gets the job done without bulk. And if you fumble and drop it in the water, it floats! The multifilament polypropylene (MFP) material keeps it on the surface, so you're not reaching for a fishing net instead of a beverage.
Bring on the UV rays, fuel spills, rain, and mildew. This line is made to resist all of it, so you're not tossing it into the trash halfway through the season. At 15' long and 3/8" thick, it's perfect for tying off jet skis, fishing boats, and small pontoons.
Ideal for personal watercraft, fishing boats, pontoons, and other vessels under 25 feet.

Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this Attwood 15-foot long, 3/8-inch thick, solid braided MFP dock line in the black color. Now this is a transient dock line that's ready to use when you tie up somewhere. With this dock line, you can just skip the knot tying tutorials 'cause this rope is gonna come with this pre-spliced eye on one end, which is just a fancy way of saying you can just hook it up and go. The spliced end is easily passed around a cleat or piling by someone on the dock, and the other end is connected to a board onboard the boat.
So whether you're tying up solo or handing it off to a buddy, it's quick, secure, and newbie-friendly. The line itself, as we mentioned, is 15 feet in length. Thickness, 3/8 of an inch thick, has a maximum working load limit of 215 pounds. And the material's made out of this MFP, which stands for multifilament polypropylene. It is a solid braided construction, as we mentioned, has this pre-spliced loop on the one end, and it is in the black color.
Now if you do want other colors, you can also get the same rope in a red, a white, or a blue color. We do sell those separately on the website. Now it is always recommended to use 1/8 of inch of line diameter for every nine foot of boat length. So this 3/8-inch diameter line is good for up to 27-foot long boats or pontoons. Now larger lines will wear longer, but they do stretch less.
And what's nice with this rope is there's no more wrestling with any stiff ropes. The solid braided design is soft to the touch, but strong under pressure. You can tie it without aggravating the joints in your hands and stash it without tangling it up. And also, if you fumble around and accidentally drop this line into the water, it does float. The MFP material's gonna allow it to stay on the surface so you don't have to fish around the bottom of the lake for your lost rope.
And the line itself is made to resist UV rays, fuel spills, rain, mildew, so you're not tossing it into the trash halfway through the season. Now also, if you have any additional questions regarding this rope or any other item we carry, please feel free to reach out to us so that we can help you get all of your questions answered. But that's gonna do it for a look at this Attwood 15-inch long, 3/8-inch thick, solid braided MFP dock line in the black color.
