Hi everybody, Andy here with etrailer.com, and today, we're taking a look at this Taylor Made Tidy-Ups Adjustable Fender Hanger with six foot navy rope. Now, this adjustable fender mount lets you hang your fender from your boat's rail or lifeline. It's very easy to install over your rail, you would just take this vinyl strap and snap it over the railing, and then secure it with this swivel lock, and it is secured and placed over your rail. Next, what you would do is take this included rope and tie this rope to your boat fender's eye, and then once that is done, you will then take the other end of this rope and using this finger, you will just push this brass roller up and run this part of the rope through underneath that roller and this roller as well, and as you run it through the adjuster, you just keep running this through until you get the height that you want. Now, what's nice is when the rope is pulled down on, that brass roller will lock this rope and it will not be able to go down any farther. If you pull up to adjust the fender, as you can see, it would easily adjust that fender, but as soon as that rope pulls down through the adjuster, that roller is going to lock into place.
Of course, if you lift the roller up, then you can pull that rope either way with no resist whatsoever. So pull it down and that roller will lock into place. So this is gonna be very easy to adjust the height of your fender. This six foot long, 3/8 of an inch diameter navy polypropylene rope is going to resist fading, rotting, and mildew damage, and this durable black vinyl strap is not going to rip or tear or break, so it's gonna be very durable, and I think it's going to last you a good long time. Now, this strap is going to fit over 3/4 inch to an 1 1/4 diameter boat rails, and let me give you some measurements here of this adjuster and strap.
Having this set as if it's sitting over a rail, the overall length of this adjuster is gonna be right at 6 3/4 inches long, and then the width, let me just do it like this here, the width is going to be right at, looks like an inch and a half wide, and then the depth is gonna be right at, including the highest point of this adjuster, we're gonna be sitting right at 1 3/4 deep. Now, you're gonna get one adjuster, and you're going to also get this rope. And that's gonna conclude our look today, I do hope it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy, thank you for joining me..
