Male: Today we're going to be taking a look at part number PC002238, this is the Harley Davidson trailer hitch receiver cover. It is designed for an inch and a quarter and two inch hitches. It's going to come with both styles of hitch plugs, or both sizes and the necessary hardware, that way you can get either one installed for your application. The hitch cover will add a clean finished look to your hitch, it's going to help keep out dirt and grime. It's going to feature the officially licensed varnished shield Harley Davidson logo. This is going to be made from durable, corrosion resistant aluminum. The face is going to have that brushed aluminum finish, it gives it a really strong durable look, and kind of rugged, but also very sleek and gives it a lot of style.

That's a really nice design, it's all going to be engraved. Both the front plate and the hitch plugs, on both sizes, that's all going to be aluminum. Full aluminum construction. Again, you're going to get both differently sized mounting brackets. When using a hitch pin and clip or a hitch pin and lock, those items are going to be sold separately. Those are required for installing this into your hitch.

What you would do, you take your plug and you would slide it into the receiver tube of your hitch, line up whatever pin hole works best for your application, then secure with a hitch pin and clip or hitch pin and lock. When using the two inch brackets for your two inch hitch, these pin holes are going to accept a standard five eighths inch pin. Then when using the inch and a quarter mounting brackets, this will accept a half inch pin diameter. The inch and a quarter plugs are going to offer two pin hole options, the two inch plugs are going to offer three pin hole options.

You just choose what ever one works best for your particular application. Taking a look at the hitch cover face, it's going to give us an overall width at the widest point, five and one quarter. Overall height from top to bottom, is about four and one quarter. The distance that we have from the back of the front plate to the center of each pin hole, we're looking at one and seven sixteenths of an inch to that closest one there. To the middle one, we're looking at two and one eighth. Then to the furthest out one, we're looking at two and seven eighths.

Those measurements using the inch and a quarter plugs to that closest one, we're looking at an inch and a half, and to the rear one, on center, two and one quarter. That's going to do it for today's look at part number PC002238. .
