Video Transcript for A Closer Look at the Iowa State University Metal Emblem 2" Hitch Cover

Today we're going to be taken a look at the Iowa State University 2 inch hitch cover from AMG. The hitch cover is going to allow you to show your school pride. It's going to add a clean finished look to your hitch, and it's going to help keep dirt and grime out of the receiver tube of your hitch. The hitch cover is going to be made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a really nice black powder coat finish, which is going to do a great job at resisting rust and corrosion. Here on the front we're going to have a chrome plated metal emblem. The unit is going to feature a rust proof and fade proof design.

It's made in the USA. It's also going to have a foam gasket around the backside. That's really going to help reduce rattle in between the hitch and the hitch cover. This is an officially licensed product. The hitch cover does require a hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock for a complete installation. The pinholes on this hitch cover will accept a standard 5/8th inch diameter pin. We're going to take a measurement of the hitch cover face. Starting with the overall width, that looks to measure about 5 inches. The overall height, that's going to measure about 3-1/2 inches. The distance that we have from the back of the foam pad to the center of the hitch pinhole it's going to be almost 2-1/2 inches. This is designed for a 2 inch by 2 inch trailer hitch receiver.

Very simple installation; all you've got to do is slide it into the receiver tube of your hitch, line up the pinholes and then secure it with the hitch pin and clip or a hitch lock. That's going to do it for today's look at the Iowa State University 2 inch hitch cover from AMG.
