Hitch covers are fun to show off and they look cool, but they do more than just accessorize your vehicle. Your Montana State University hitch cover helps to keep dirt out of the receiver and deters rust, making it easier to install ball mounts and other hitch accessories the next time you need them.

Today we're going to be taking a look at the Montana State Fighting Bobcats Emblem 2" hitch cover from AMG. This hitch cover's going to allow you to represent your school pride. It's going to add a clean, finished look to your vehicle, and it's going to help keep dirt and grime out of your hitch. The hitch cover's going to be made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a black powder coat finish for rust and corrosion protection. We're going to have a chrome plated metal emblem right here on the front face.
It's going to feature a rust-proof and fade-proof design. It's American made. Here on the back side, it's going to come with a foam gasket. That's going to help reduce rattling between the hitch and the hitch cover. This is an officially licensed product. Now, it's a really simple installation.
You just slide it into your hitch, line up your pin holes, and secure it with a hitch pin and clip or a hitch pin and lock. Now, those items are sold separately. You can find them right here at etrailer.com. The pin hole on this hitch cover will accept a standard 5/8" diameter pin. Taking a look at the front face measurements real quick; going this direction, we're looking at about 5".
That's going to give us a height of about 3-1/2". The distance that we have from the back of that foam pad to the center of that hitch pin hole, that's going to measure about 2-1/2" and again, this is designed for 2"x2" trailer hitches. That's going to do it for today's look at the Montana State Fighting Bobcats Emblem 2" hitch cover from AMG.

Like new….still! We just returned from a 6 week, 6000 mile trip pulling this Jeep in all types of weather. I washed the Jeep yesterday, this hitch cover still looks brand new. Good job to whoever made this one.
