Today we're going to be taking a look at the Montana State Fighting Bobcats Emblem 2" hitch cover from AMG. This hitch cover's going to allow you to represent your school pride. It's going to add a clean, finished look to your vehicle, and it's going to help keep dirt and grime out of your hitch. The hitch cover's going to be made from a steel construction. It's going to feature a black powder coat finish for rust and corrosion protection. We're going to have a chrome plated metal emblem right here on the front face.
It's going to feature a rust-proof and fade-proof design. It's American made. Here on the back side, it's going to come with a foam gasket. That's going to help reduce rattling between the hitch and the hitch cover. This is an officially licensed product. Now, it's a really simple installation.
You just slide it into your hitch, line up your pin holes, and secure it with a hitch pin and clip or a hitch pin and lock. Now, those items are sold separately. You can find them right here at etrailer.com. The pin hole on this hitch cover will accept a standard 5/8" diameter pin. Taking a look at the front face measurements real quick; going this direction, we're looking at about 5".
That's going to give us a height of about 3-1/2". The distance that we have from the back of that foam pad to the center of that hitch pin hole, that's going to measure about 2-1/2" and again, this is designed for 2"x2" trailer hitches.
