Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a quick look at this Coleman Mach Marine Mach 13,500 BTU Air Conditioner with this textured white cover. Now at 13,500 BTU this air conditioner is gonna be strong enough to cool down most mid-sized cabins or saloons areas on your boats. You're gonna feel the difference on those hot summer days when the sun is baking everything, but it's not gonna be so oversized that it's gonna guzzle power unnecessarily. It basically is going to hit that just right zone for efficiency and comfort.
Unlike a lot of generic RV or residential ACs. This one is specifically designed for marine environments. So what that means is better corrosion resistance, a sturdier build, and the kind of reliability that you're gonna need when dealing with salt, water, air, and constant vibration. Let's talk dimensions. Looking at the overall length of this unit from end to end, right about 38 inches long.
And then the overall width is 26 inches wide. And this is considered to be a mid profile size air conditioning, air conditioning unit. So the height is gonna be right about 13 and a half inches tall, and this is going to fit over the roof opening size of 14 and a quarter inches long by 14 and a quarter inches wide. As you probably know, Coleman Mock has been around for quite some time in the RV and marine air conditioning space. So they're known for rugged compressors and units that just keep running season after season.
So if you don't want to be dealing with surprise breakdowns when you're out on the water, this air conditioner's really gonna be a great item for you to consider. Now, I mentioned that this has a textured white cover. A lot of the other air conditioners that I have looked at, they have a really hard cover. This isn't like that. It's a little more giving, I guess you could say, a little more flexible.
So I don't think it's going to impact very easily and crack very easily. Like I said, it's, it's textured, so it looks great, but I think it's gonna hold up really well for you. Lemme see if I can get that wiring harness there real quick, just to give you a brief view of that. There we go. In case you we inchesre wanting to take a look at that plug, so this is, I think, going to hold up really well on your boat, especially with the cover, especially with the build. Again, it's built from Marine Life and I do wanna point out that this unit is not backwards compatible with any AC system from 2024 and earlier due to the new R32 refrigerant that meets the 2025 EPA regulation. So this does use that new R32 refrigerant, so that being the case, air distribution boxes, thermostats, other components would all have to be compliant with that R32 refrigerant. So if you're looking at this as just a simple replacement and your current components are not compliant with that R32 refrigerant, you will have to replace the thermostat, the air distribution box, all those other components to use this. So we do carry this unit in kits either for ducted or ductless systems. So you can find those kits here at etrailer.com. And if you need any help with direction as to which one you need, don't hesitate to give us a call. We do wanna be sure that you're getting exactly what you want and need. So again, this is just gonna be for the air conditioner only, but we do have kits available to give you everything that you need to get up and running on your boat. Well, I think that's gonna wrap up our quick look today. I do hope that it was helpful for you. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
