Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look together at this Coleman Mach Signature Mach 3 13,500 BTU RV Air Conditioner with this polished white shroud. Mow at 13,500 BTUs, this is gonna give you enough cooling for your smaller to midsize RVs. Think about 30 feet long and shorter, and this is going to be especially great for you if you're camping in those more moderate climates. As you might know, Coleman has been making RV air conditioner units for a long time and this Mach line has a a reputation for being both reliable and durable.
This is the Signature series, so this is basically a more premium version that they carry. They beefed up the components and added some extra efficiency to help it run smoother and last longer. Talking measurements here, looking at the overall length from end to end, we're sitting pretty close to about 39 inches. The overall width a little over 26 inches, and this is a medium profile size air conditioner. So the overall height's gonna be a little over 13 and a half inches tall.
This is going to fit over your standard RV roof size opening of 14 and a quarter inches by 14 and a quarter inches. And this weighs about 80 pounds. So this is going to be a rooftop air conditioner only. So this will be compatible with both ducted and ductless systems. It's the air distribution box that's going to determine whether the cooled air gets distributed through the vents, which would be for your ducted system or just plunge it straight down from the ceiling.
That would be your non-inducted system. So what you're gonna need to do is pair this with a compatible Coleman Mach air distribution box, and a thermostat if your system needs a thermostat. And that will complete your cooling setup. Now I do wanna point out that this will not be backwards compatible with any AC systems or components from 2024 and earlier due to the new R32 refrigerant that this uses. So if you currently have an air distribution box or a thermostat or any other component from 2024 and earlier, that's probably not going to work with this air conditioner unit because of that R32 refrigerant that meets the 2025 EPA regulation.
So I would encourage you to check out the complete kits that we carry with this unit. We do carry kits, whether it be for your ducted or ductless systems, and it comes with the air distribution box and a thermostat if that particular system needs a thermostat. So you can find those kit options hereat etrailer.com and that would solve the problem of making sure that everything is compatible because with that kit you'll have everything that you need. Just wanted to show you the wiring harness there. And this does have a streamlined look. This shroud here, I think is gonna do a pretty decent job of reducing drag. And again, this is a polished white finish. So the sides and the front have that polished texture, that shining surface to it, but then the top and the back have more of a matte, textured matte finish. So it's kind of a two-tone finish. And so either way, I think it's gonna look good. I think it's gonna hold up well. It's not like hard and rigid, there's some give to it. So I don't think it's going to fracture as easily if maybe you run into a tree branch or something like that. I think there's a little bit of give to it. So I think it should hold up pretty well for you. Now, for a unit this powerful, I think Coleman does a pretty decent job of keeping the noise down for what it is. This isn't necessarily considered a whisper quiet unit, but this is going to be a whole lot quieter compared to older models or more budget type models. It's gonna be noticeably less disruptive, and that means you're gonna be able to sleep or watch TV or have conversations in your RV or camper without having to shout over this unit while it's running. when ordered I was told next day delivery, product hadn't even shipped 5 days later. called and customer support had no answers, from there it was another 2 days before the product was received. Transparency and honesty is key, if I had known it would be a week I could have given my client realistic expectations. the only reason it was ordered from e-trailer is my other supplier sent the wrong AC and E-trailer claimed to have the right one with next day shipping.
