Extensive Testing
InfiniteRule products undergo extensive third-party testing to determine shear strength. The shear strength is determined by placing the hitch lock in a stress position and subjecting it to increasing force until a required proof load (maximum force received without deformity) is met or the pin fails. This hitch lock has a shear strength of 30,000 lbs.
The InfiniteRule hitch lock is used to secure your swivel hook or shackle to your bumper mount. This allows your InfiniteRule lock to be used for towing and off-road activities such as rock crawling, mudding, and recovery. The safe working load limit is 10,000 lbs.
The flush-style design prevents the lock from being broken or pried off your swivel hook or shackle. The tapered head provides an additional layer of theft deterrence by preventing a would-be thief from being able to grip the lock with pliers or a wrench.

Seems like it will do what i need it to do to safely tow my jeep
I wanted a secure way to connect my jeep to our motor home when travelling and this gets it done. It takes a little more work hooking up worth the piece of mind.

I wish I saw or was told to get the correct length. I searched locking pins and found the ones that were for shackles and tow bars. After they arrived I found that they were longer than needed. Then I went back on your website and found the correct length (for blue ox 2-5/8). I called and was told that they would work the same and be safe. I’ll be trying them out in a few weeks.
Not necessarily a problem with the actual item, but the diameter is too large to fit the 5/8" pin-hole of my Roadmaster Nighthawk Tow Bar and receiver hitch and I was unable to try it.
