When you’re swapping between trailers, nothing matters more than keeping them level. The Weigh Safe 180 Pro Hitch 2-Ball Mount lets you dial in the perfect height with up to an 8" drop or 9" rise. The adjustable ball mount platform slides along the shank in 1" increments, locking solid with dual pins. A level setup keeps your trailer tracking straight and stable, no matter what you’re towing.
Heavy-duty jobs call for heavy-duty gear. The steel build of this hitch is rated to tow up to 22,000 lbs with the 2-5/16" ball and 10,000 lbs with the 2" ball. The maximum tongue weight comes in at 1,500 lbs. Every pull feels confident thanks to its high-strength steel construction and solid design that’s SAE J684 certified and VESC Regulations V-5 compliant.
When you’re not towing, this hitch folds neatly under your truck for a clean look and no shin-bangers. Just pull the dual pins, move the platform to the backside of the shank facing the vehicle, and reinsert the pins—it’s stowed and secure. Whether it’s on or off duty, the setup stays quiet, tight, and ready for the next haul.
No need to carry loose balls in your toolbox or swap hardware mid-trip. This setup includes both a 2" and a 2-5/16" ball mounted on opposite sides of the same platform. To change sizes, simply pull the dual pins, flip the platform, and reinsert—it’s that simple. You’re ready for different coupler sizes in seconds without tools or hassle.
Sometimes you want to haul gear without removing your hitch setup. This design includes a built-in receiver right on the front for a bike rack or cargo carrier. Just pop out the rubber plug when you need it, then cover it again to keep dirt out. It’s a smart way to keep your hitch working double-duty without extra steps.

Hello neighbors. Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Weigh Safe Steel 180 Pro drop hitch with a two-inch shank, and a max drop of eight inches, or a max rise of nine inches. Now folks, you're gonna get two balls with this two-inch shank. You're gonna get a 2 5/16 inch that's rated at 22,000 pounds max capacity, or the two-inch ball rated at 10,000 pounds max capacity. Now the rise or the drop will go up or down in one-inch increments.
And as you know, a ball mile with the included hitch balls lets you hook up your trailer to the tow vehicle with ease. The two-inch shank receiver slides into that two-inch hitch, and the ball provides that connection point for towing your trailer. Now the fact that it's adjustable and dual ball means you can load different trailers, tow different trailers, rather, with different heights using the same vehicle. And the fact you can swap the ball over lets you carry different size coupler options that are out there as well. So maybe you're borrowing a trailer, rent one, et cetera, you got lots of options and combinations here to work with pretty much everything out there.
Now this is all hardened steel with a powder coat carbon steel construction, black powder coat, rather. Now some quick dimensions from the back center hitch pole, hole to the center of the ball is 9 1/8 inches. To the closest hitch pin hole to the ball in the center is eight inches. From the back here to the center hole, I got 2 3/8 inches. And from the back here to the X of the center hole of this one, I got 3 1/2 inches.
Now this does not come with a hitch pin or a clip or lock for the hitch part itself. You would've to purchase that separately if you don't already have one. This is a 5/8 inch hitch pin hole. Now you do get an included lock here. It's got a rubber cover over it, and this is all black to match other than the lock core itself.
You get two sets of tubular keys that makes it harder to lock pick or anything. Simply unlock, pull the steel pins out. Now this is under some weight, so it may be a little tight on me. There we go. Now let's say we went to swap from the 2 5/16 to the two-inch. Well, I could simply take this off, swap the ball 180, slide that back down, and now, of course, since I've swapped it over, the lock is on my side facing me, which is not a big deal at all. Simply put the key in, lock it, put my rubber cover back on the lock, and I'm good to go. Now I can tow the two-inch ball. So again, very elegant. That powder coat finish is really nice looking, looks very, very durable. They did a great job. Also up here, you got a front rubber cover that simply pops out. As you can see, there's a hitch pin here. This is about four inches deep inside. So if you have an accessory, maybe a bike rack or something small, you could put it in here, or maybe even just like a hitch cover. Maybe you have like your favorite sports team emblem or something like that. You could pop that in there. And that's a two-inch by two-inch that that would fit. So that is not to be used for towing. It is strictly for light accessories only. This is V5 and J684 certified. And again, this is gonna be the Weigh Safe Steel 180 Pro drop hitch for the two-inch shank. I'm Steven. Thanks for watching. And as always, stay safe while you're towing.

This thing is built like a tank awesome awesome awesome
Exactly what I ordered
Great product for the price, haven't pulled anything yet with it but looks great and easy setup
Great solid hitch. Love the fact there’s an extra spot where I can attach my bike rack to it without having to swap out the hitch.
4 stars due to the rattle of the lower part where the balls are. Could have held a tighter fit to stop this. Overall it looks great and should work just fine when loaded.
This drop hitch is super easy to use and the dual locks with same keys for the hitch lock and ball lock should be a industry standard. Works perfect 2500HD Chevy using my enclosed trailer.
great hitch - going to order a second o ne
It is exactly what is was described as. I have a 2010 GM Canyon and my new trailer is setup for off road use. My existing hitch made it so I had a lot of tongue weight, this weigh safe hitch allows me to get more balanced with the ability to flip it and get correct height for whatever I am hauling behind me
