I like everything about it with one very minor exception. The rubber hitch plug fell out frequently until I wedged another piece of rubber under it to keep it in place. Luckily, I never lost it.
The hitch itself is really good. The only problem was the wiring. While the hitch fits on the Volvo really well the installer said I had to take it to Volvo to connect the wiring. Volvo said that to install the electrical connector they would have to remove the bumper and the installation would be about $500. That’s not the fault of the stealth hitch but if you have a Volvo be aware of this problem.
etrailer did a fantastic job with the order and the hitch fits beautifully. Stealth Hitch made two small errors that were easily remedied but are worth noting. First, they didn't include the nylon nuts and bolts to reattach the kick sensor on the rear fascia. Like most folks I have a ton of spare nuts and bolts so it wasn't a big issue but would have been handy if they had been included as noted. Secondly, their bracket doesn't provide enough room to mount the 7-wire connector vertically, the back of the receptacle hits the hitch beam. Easily remedied by tilting the receptacle, but required some slight bending of the bracket. It would be easily remediedby simply making the attachment point a quarter inch lower. Other than those two minor things which have nothing to do with etrailer I'm very satisfied and am happy to be back in the hauling business!
