The ICON Gooseneck Trailer Lock secures gooseneck trailer couplers using a hardened cast steel locking body and a high-security disc detainer cylinder to prevent unauthorized trailer hookup.
A parked trailer is vulnerable the second someone can back up and latch onto it. This lock secures the coupler with a hardened cast steel locking body and a pick resistant disc-detainer cylinder to prevent unauthorized trailer hookup. Once it's locked in place, the coupler stays blocked and your trailer can't be towed away.
Quick theft attempts usually go after exposed lock bodies with cutting wheels or pry tools. Patented radial fins are built into the body to deter cutting, drilling, and prying attacks by disrupting tool access around the lock. That added resistance forces a louder, longer attack while the trailer stays put.
Rain, road grime, and temperature swings can wear down exposed hardware and jam the mechanism. A stainless steel lock body, corrosion-resistant e-coat, powder coat, and weather protection seals guard against corrosion, UV damage, dirt, and moisture. Hi, everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this ICON gooseneck lock for your two and 5/16-inch B&W extended goose coupler. Now this is designed specifically to fit the two and 5/16-inch extended goose coupler, gooseneck coupler, rather, from B&W. And so this is not a one size fits all product. It's made to match that setup perfectly, giving you a secure fit.
And on your screen, I've got some examples of photos there showing you what this lock is going to look like in action. And what really stands out is the level of security that this is going to give you. It uses a hardened cast steel body, which is going to make this tough and durable. And the design includes these patented radial fins. It's gonna make it extremely difficult for someone to cut, drill, or pry off, even with power tools.
The lock itself is a high security disc retainer style. Lemme see if I can give you a brief demonstration of that. So this lock is going to be much harder to pick than your standard locks. Got this bolt here, I'm just going to loosen that and remove it. That seals our lock, our keyway here.
You got four keys, and obviously everything is keyed alike. So I'm gonna get one of these keys in here, give it a turn, and then lemme bring this back down. If you notice here our lock is going to go down. That's going to allow you to fit this around the coupler. And then once you have it in place, you're just going to push that back up into the coupler, turn the key, remove it, and then that's gonna be locked into place.
And then it's gonna go ahead and replace the bolt here to seal that up just like that. So that's how easy this is going to be to use. So that lock body is going to be sealed. It's gonna hold up better against dirt, water, and weather over time. As far as using it, as we saw, it's gonna be a very straightforward, easy install, quick protection without complicated setup. So again, this is a heavy duty, robust purpose-built lock that's going to focus on serious theft deterrence, while still being easy to use.
