Today we're going to be taking a look at the Power Grip Generator Adapter for for our RV power cords. This is for the 30 amp 4-prong style. Then you're able to plug in at 50 amp RV-style connector. The part number is CAM55382. This is a 25 volt adapter cord. It will plug in, as we said, standard 50 amp can plug right into here. Then we can run this right into our 4-prong style connector.

This is a L-14-50 style receptacle. It's made to go right into our generator and then twist with the two small tabs there giving us the leverage we need. That really helps to hold it into place. It's going to prevent this from vibrating loose while our generator is running and powering it. As you can see, we've got bright yellow ends there. It's going to be easy to see in low light.

We've got a built-in handle here on the female connector. That's going to make plugging and unplugging pretty effortless. Now that we've seen what it is and how it works, that will complete today's look at the Camco RV products Power Grip RV Generator Adapter, part number CAM55382. .

    In the Mighty Cord Generator Adapter for RV Power Cord # A10-G30450VP that you referenced there are 6 and 8 gauge wires used. The big difference between this and the Camco part # CAM55422 that you would notice is the handle that the Camco has on the female side. This has a larger handle which would help make unplugging a bit easier since it's something solid you can grab onto. If you have limited clearance the Mighty Cord would be the better option as it does not have this.
