Today we're going to be taking a look at the Power Grip Generator Adapter for for our RV power cords. This is for the 30 amp 4-prong style. Then you're able to plug in at 50 amp RV-style connector. The part number is CAM55382. This is a 25 volt adapter cord. It will plug in, as we said, standard 50 amp can plug right into here. Then we can run this right into our 4-prong style connector.
This is a L-14-50 style receptacle. It's made to go right into our generator and then twist with the two small tabs there giving us the leverage we need. That really helps to hold it into place. It's going to prevent this from vibrating loose while our generator is running and powering it. As you can see, we've got bright yellow ends there. It's going to be easy to see in low light.
We've got a built-in handle here on the female connector. That's going to make plugging and unplugging pretty effortless. Now that we've seen what it is and how it works, that will complete today's look at the Camco RV products Power Grip RV Generator Adapter, part number CAM55382. .

First order had part out of stock. I was contacted and was able to cancel that order and reorder with a part that was in stock a had parts only with a days delay.
The adaptor was exactly as described. It is very well made and is perfect to plug into our RV generator. We will be using the adaptor for our next camping trip.
This product is answer to my dreams. Have a 37' Pace Arrow which had a 3.5k generator which was only capable of running one a cat a time. Generator died and I quickly found out generator repair people are rarer than Amish electricians. Bought a 7k generator and was arranging to pay an electrician to wire it in to rv when I discoveees this incredible connection. It twists in to 120/240 outlet on generator and accepts 4 prong rv cord. GREAT!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. Turned on both ac's for first time since I owned rv, (over 10 yrs). Within mins rv was cool and I have enough power for another rv. This thing is great. I highly recommend to anyone with an rv with a small generator or generator in need of repair, go buy a 7k running amp generator and this plug and you're set with plenty of electrical power. Also, the quality and durability of this part is suprisingly amazing. You can easily run over this plug with your rv and not phase it. BUY ONE. This will be the best rv purchase you can make.
