When you are holding a container of liquid over your car engine, the last thing you want is a big spill. The self-venting system on this utility jug is designed to prevent that. It ensures a smooth flow of liquid without the"glug, glug, glug" experience that can lead to mishaps with other jugs.
The vent is located on top of the handle, underneath the blue trigger, and it must be kept open for liquid to flow from the jugs's spout. To open the vent, simply press down on the back of the trigger so that the front part of the trigger raises up. Because you don't have to tip this jug to pour - just position the flexible spout at the angle you need - it'll be easy to hold the trigger in place. As soon as your reservoir is full, just release the trigger and the flow of liquid will stop.

What's up, everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna be checking out this SureCan utility container. Use it for hauling water. Now it also has a spigot that rotates so when you need to fill something up you can just push this button, pull up on the lever and the water comes out. Be really good for taking camping or tailgating just to have that water ready to go. I really like how easy it's to use a spout to rotate it down and pour the water out into a cup or wherever we need it.
Now, because this is a utility jug, the spigot's gonna make it easier to pour the water out. So instead of just having the hose like some of the other canisters that SureCan has where you can still control the flow with the trigger up here it's gonna be a lot easier to get it poured into a cup or even a dog bowl if you need to. Just because you not have to worry about getting that hose down there at an angle. Just keep it like this, throw that, and it'll fill it up. Now you're gonna have two different safeties on here before the water comes out.
So you will have to pull back on that lever, push the whole thing down to let the water release out to the spigot, and then once you get in the spigot you can pull that and you see the water comes out. Now to help you do that with just one hand it does come with a hook and loop strap. So what you want to do, just loosen this up, put this around the handle to hold that down. So that way if you're just leaving out for the day, sitting up on a table, you don't wanna have to hit both of these every time you need some water. Just run this through.
Like that. Now the lever's being held down so free just to pour water whenever we need it. I do like that it's a two step process to release the water just in case somebody hits the lever on here when you're not ready to use that water. It's not gonna just go spill everywhere. You have to hold this down too.
And with the hook and loop strap, this makes it easier to set up for the day, and then you have water. When it comes time to refill it, you have the cap here on the back, so you'll just rotate that over. You will have to push this part down. That's just the safety on it to keep it in place. Rotate off and you can fill up the whole jug from here. I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out. Hope it helped.
