This underbed gooseneck hitch is built to handle serious towing. This hitch seems well built. The only real issue I have with it was it didn't have the correct holes for my 23 f350 and I had to drill two holes in plates "c&d" in order for it to line up with the factory welded inner plates "A&B"
This is my second install of an aftermarket gooseneck hitch. The first was a B&W on a Chevy. That one went smoothly but felt a little cumbersome for having to cut a heat shield and remove the fender liner. I opted for the Curt in this case on a 2023 F250 on the basis that it was a "simple one man installation." The B&W had a clear, helpful video and was ultimately straightforward. This one I actually had help with from a friend who is a Ford tech and couldn't believe what a disaster it was. The fit and finish was poor, clearances were inadequate, instructions were totally lacking and overall it was a total mess to shoehorn this thing in. I think there is no video provided for the specific application because it would be almost impossible to film one going in cleanly. I will never buy another Curt product. If you're considering this do yourself a favor and don't walk, RUN to buy the B&W.

After opening the boxes everything looks great and heavy duty. All the parts appear to be there will be installing it soon.
Etrailer only sent one half of the hitch. They get 2 stars because Sarah in customer service at least acted like she cared about the mistake.
From experience, I can say the Curt hitch is better than the Draw-tite, because the draw-tite did not fit my 2023 F350, the paint is better on the Curt and it comes with the ball. I reduced the rating one star because I had to ream four holes that were about 20% off. Otherwise the installation went smoothly

I had a Curt on my 2019 F250 it was great. I just had this one installed on my f350. Very happy with this product.
It was an easy install. Have installed a number of gooseneck hitches. This was the easiest so far.
Quality build, all heavy duty, grade 8 fasteners.
Difficulty with assembly, not all holes lined up
Chose this over the B&W because with that hitch, you must lower the diesel exhaust system on my 2025 Ford F250 6.7L. The hitch is well made but the instructions aren’t great. Some of the bolts are difficult to access. As far as hitting the torque specs, good luck on the bolts towards the cab side. There really isn’t room to swing a torque wrench. You could use an impact gun or just get them as tight as you can. There is also an alignment tool for drilling the center hole from under the bed. However, you’d need a very long drill bit to make it all the way up and through. I just used the factory dimple that Ford leaves in the bed and went top down. It’s dead center, but the hitch was slightly off because of alignment. It still lined up in the hole, so good enough. The chain loops installed easily and unlike the Chevy models, end up low in the bed between the ridges, not on top, and don’t contact the exhaust. I also installed the Curt in-bed wiring plug which was a very easy install. This job took me several hours laying on my back under the truck despite being familiar with working on vehicles. A lift would have made it easier.

Especially about how much room, or lack there of, to tighten the bolts on the cab side. Thanks again for taking the time to document your experience so thoroughly. Reviews like yours give others a much better idea of what to expect before they start the install. Especially if they are also going to be doing the install without a lift.
It is a well-designed hitch. Aligning the bolts with the holes took some time due to slight variations in manufacturing, but ultimately we managed to get everything properly fitted.
