Video Transcript for 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe WeatherTech Front Auto Floor Mats: Complete Installation

Today, on our 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe, we'll be taking a look at the Weathertech Front Auto Floor Mats in black, part number WT444401. Also available in tan, part number WT454401. In gray, for number WT464401. As you see here on the passenger side, we have our floor mat installed. It's a very nice floor mat. It's completely contoured to the inside of your vehicle.

They have rigid plastic cores for durability, and their unique rubberized outer shell grips the carpet while it channels and traps water and debris. It's a nice rubberized thermoplastic material. That's going to deter any dirt, debris, moisture that gets in your vehicle. That's going to keep it on the mat and off of your carpet. As you can see, it has nice tall containment walls.

That's also going to help keeping any moisture and dirt on the mat. The rubberized material here can withstand all the dirt, and debris, and moisture you'll throw at it, a long with battery acid and gas. Anything else you may track into your vehicle. As you can see, it has nice channels. That's going to take the moisture off your feet down into the channels, while your feet are raised off of it, so it stays out of the moisture. On the passenger side, you can use your factory tie down point.

It reaches far up underneath the dash, so it's going to keep your carpet clean all the way up into the firewall. As you can see, it's also perfectly molded around the interior of your car. It goes here over to the center console, up underneath the dash, over to the kick panel, where it meets up with the threshold, and across here on the raised part right in front of the seat. It's going to keep your floor nice and clean. Now I'm going to go over to the driver's side and show you how to install your new floor mat. Now, when installing your Weathertech floor mats, you want to go ahead and take any existing mats out of your vehicle, so you're down to the bare carpet.

All you have to do is take your floor mat . Slide it up underneath your pedals. As you see, the unique design is cut out to go around your gas pedal. You're also able to use the two factory hold downs here on the driver's side. It reaches underneath the dash, over to the kick panel, along the threshold, around the seat, to the middle console, to give you superior coverage to keep debris and moisture on your mat, and not on your carpet. The nice thing about these floor mats is, if they do get dirty, all you have to do is take them out of your vehicle, hose them off, use a mild detergent, let them air dry, and put them back in your vehicle. They're just like new.
