Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. What's up everybody, Adam here with the trailer. Today, we're gonna be taking a look at the custom fit WeatherTech second row floor mat. So this is gonna come in black, gonna come in gray also gonna come in tan and cocoa. So with this, we thought that black was gonna look the best just because of our black seats. And as you can see, it's a custom fit to the floor. So it is usually our fit guide and that's just gonna put all the ones that are gonna fit your specific vehicle right in front of you and then you can pick from there, but this is definitely gonna be an upgrade from some of those OEM floor mats.
What sets this floor mat apart from some of the others is gonna be the extra little bit of coverage that you're gonna get. So with some of these floor mats that are still custom fit, they're gonna stop right around here. So if we do have some spills, it will eventually get down into this crack. This is typically the dirtiest part of the vehicle in my opinion, I've cleaned a lot of cars. So having this extra little piece here is gonna be nice just to prevent any spills and stuff from going into the cracks.
As the heat starts to get to this, it is kind of cold here right now, but as it starts to get to the floor mat, it will start to settle down like this. So don't be concerned about the fit. It's just a little cold in here. So you definitely wanna maybe lay them out in the sun for them to kinda flatten out cause they go in that box kind of folds it up so that isn't gonna be an issue. But as you can see, check this out.
It goes all the way around the whole entire outside. You have a little raised lip all the way around, but what I like about this is it actually goes underneath our seat and we do have a little lip on every single side of this. So any spill is gonna be contained. Another cool thing about it is I like how it's a one piece. So some of the other ones that you have on the website aren't really a one piece.
You know, they have a little seam right here. So I just like this just because it's one piece and it's completely covered so you're not gonna have any leaks going in between the cracks here. I liked that a lot and as you can see, it goes all the way around every little piece of the whole entire back. So this does have the best coverage in my opinion of all the other ones that we have on our website. The custom fit does a couple of different things. One, it covers every single piece of carpet that you have in the back, but also since it's so molded to the shape, we're not really getting a whole lot of movement. If you look underneath, we don't have any spikes or anything. I don't like the spikes, why Well, it leaves just this weird pattern in the carpet and I just don't necessarily love that. So, I like that about this floor mat. It really doesn't move around and this is more of a plastic-y type feel, but it does have a rubber inner core. So it is gonna be decent amount of flex. So it's not gonna be too rigid. So whenever you try to pull this thing out, I would definitely recommend just kind of folding up your seats and if you have a spill or something, just kind of pull it out and then slide it on out one way. So, if I we're to compare this to more of a rubberized mat, I usually see those that aren't of full coverage like the Weathertech. So, I definitely liked the more plasticky feel just because I think it's a lot easier to clean. And also with these ridges, some of the other mats that you have, they're a lot closer together and there are a lot taller so like having to clean that, you have to take like a little towel or something going each little crack, but with this, you can just take one towel and just kind of go like that and it'll clean up. So this is definitely a lot easier to clean than some of the others. From all the options that you have on our website, this is gonna be one of the more premium options. I think it's worth it just because people get in and out of my vehicle all the time. This is the mat that I have. So with the back, whether you have dogs or kids or something like that, it's gonna be the easiest to clean up and I just think investing in your vehicle is gonna be probably the smarter move especially if you're kind of like me and you get into some messy situations. So this is gonna keep cleaning to a minimum. It's gonna make it a lot quicker so you'll have a nice and pretty truck whenever anybody gets in and I just think that's a no brainer. So if you we're to ask me my opinion, I literally have these in my vehicle and I think they're gonna be the best option for you. If you're looking for the best amount of coverage and in my opinion, the best floor mat for your vehicle, the Weathertech is always gonna be number one in my books and I think it's gonna be a great choice for you. The fit is lacking quite a bit (like 3-5 inches off in places) also wish I didn’t get the one that covers the whole floor in one piece. I wish it was 3 pieces that snap together for easier cleaning because this design you end up dumping all the crud on the floor of the truck while trying to take the mat out to clean it.

Ends of these floor mats curl up and hit the doors. Have not been able to come up with a good way to keep them held down.

I did reach out to the manufacturer who advises that it appears to be normal wear and tear and are being kicked as people enter and exit the truck. It can cause the curling that you are seeing here.

These mats are really good. Still like new after 1 year. My only suggestion to WeatherTech would be to make them have a bit more of a natural "rubber" feel rather than molded plastic, which is hard and less forgiving.

As always etrailer was very quick to process my order and get my products to me in a timely manner. I did notice that the box these came in had a small puncture in the side. Luckily none of the products were damaged, but the delivery drivers would most likely be the ones to blame for the damage to the package. So far I’m impressed with these mats, they definitely do a good job at keeping mud and water from getting on the carpet, and even do a good job of keeping the dirt and dust to a minimum. I do wish somehow there was some sort of protection for the carpet between the seat and the door sill plate. This seems to be an area that is extremely difficult to keep the carpet dirt and dust free. Also, it would have been nice to see some more protection up the side of the transmission tunnel on the passenger side because passengers seem to like to put their muddy feet wherever they please, but even if it were covered they would still find some carpet to make dirty! Other than that, these are some very tough, rugged, well-fitting floor mats for my truck!

Received the mats 6 days after ordering using the "free shipping "option. I feel this is reasonable and the tracking provided was accurate and up to date. Now about the mats. I have owned many vehicles and have always tried to protect the interior and keep it as new looking as possible. I believe these mats will help me do that. In s word, they are great. They fit really well and the color match is spot on. The texture is non-slip and they are flexible enough that taking them in and out is a very easy. In short they are perfect for my vehicle and I would most certainly buy them again. I will definitely use "etrailer" again for any products I need that they carry.

Cargo mat delivered did not completely Fit the cargo area. I'm assuming the wrong mat was sent. 2018 Chevy Equinox LS . Waiting for response back from eTrailer. I called 800 # on July 11, 2017 three times from 4:30pm to 5pm EST and computer prompt for service with product was #3. On hold twice for over 15 minutes with no explanation or human contact. Called third time and used prompt 1 for sales thinking they would surely pick this call up. Same 15 minutes on hold without any contact. Hung up again after unnecessary wait. Hopefully this will get worked out and at the minimum a credit should be offered for the screw up and non existent customer phone service.

Beautifully made- only regret is that it has made a tripping hazard between seats if you walk to back of vehicle. While it fits perfectly in both foot wells, it bulges in between.

I reached out to Weather Tech and I have a few options that you can try. One way would be to lay the liner out, and flip it inside out. Let it sit, then manually manipulate the walls back into place. This should level out the liner and give it the nice contour liners. Another way would be to leave the liner in the sun with a weight and then replace in the vehicle.

I was skeptical. Seemed expensive for "floor mats". Well I'm not a skeptic any more. They are perfect. The fact that they are molded into the exact shape for my truck is amazing. They dont move, slide, shift. I live in a rural area (dirt). Keeps it all contained and then easily swept or vacuumed out. Especially helpful at the boat ramp!!!

This mat covers the entire area and then some. The dimensins are great. I am still deciding on how much to trim. This is better than the other mats I had purchased ad tried to return.

The maximum that this mat can be trimmed is from 36 inches down to 27.5 inches. And then from side to side from 53 to 41 inches.
