Hi there Jeep owners. Today on your 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee, we're going to be taking a look at, and showing you how to install, WeatherTech's cargo mat.These are available in either black, gray, cocoa, or tan. Your cargo mat couldn't be easier to install. It does come rolled up in the box, so I do recommend that you just let it sit outside in the sun. And that's going to help it expand and return to its normal position.We've got it right side up. Sometimes if it wants to curl back up, you might want to flip it over so it's upside down, just to help it get nice and flat.
We've had ours sitting out here for about 15 minutes. And that's about all it took for it to return to its position. So we're just going to open up the back here.If you have any debris or anything here in the back, you'll want to clean everything out. Ours is all cleaned up. We'll now take our cargo mat.
We're just going to set it in with the WeatherTech logo facing towards the rear so we can read it.And it's just going to fall right into position. We're just going to give it a little push down on the edges, just to get its final fit. And that's basically it. We're now ready to load up any cargo in the back, and keep our carpet nice and protected.The rear cargo mat is a one piece custom design that is designed to fit the contours and curves of your vehicle. You can see it goes right around the edges and it gives us full coverage all the way across the back here.It does have raised sections, and these raised sections will allow any moisture, and mud, and other debris particles to fall down into the cracks here.
And that way, your gear or anything that's sitting back here, is not just sitting down in that muck. That muck's down here in the cracks.The edge of our cargo mat also has a raised lip all the way around it. So any debris and moisture is going to get trapped inside of our mat, and it's not going to spill over the edges onto our carpet. And once you've got it all mucked up, it's really easy to clean. Just take it out.
And the best way to do it, is just hit it with a garden hose, spray it off, and then you can let it sit out in the sun to dry, or you could take a rag to it to speed up the process.And then it just slides right back into place. The cargo mat's constructed of a thermalized plastic that is a rubberized plastic. You can see it gives nice flexibility to it. So if you put anything heavy on it, you don't have to worry about it causing any cracks into it, or shattering. But it is rigid and strong enough to where if you put anything on it that has some sharp edges, it's not just going to poke right on through it.It's also protectant against any UV rays, as well as oils, and road grime. So any of those dirty materials back here is not going to break this down and cause it to dry rot.And that completes our look at WeatherTech's cargo mat on our 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The lip around the edge doesn’t really hold its shape to well to contain liquids, and the bottom has no spikes or traction, so the whole thing slides on the carpet. It slowly slides toward the door, and then the door doesn’t close. Good material I guess, but really poor design. Ill buy a different one as soon as I catch my breath after paying WeatherTech prices for something that doesn’t do the job.
This cargo liner is fantastic!
The fit is precise and matches the trunk of my car exactly. It is slightly thinner than I was expecting, but the liner is very light yet stiffer than regular floor mats. The light and fairly flexible material makes for quick add/remove easing cleanup. Edges around the entire perimeter are over 1" tall and will hold a significant amount of water/dirt/whatever without destroying the trunk.
Exact fitment. Quick shipping from etrailer. Made for my car. Looks like a factory accessory. I would recommend both the Weathertech custom floor mats and etrailer for the positive shopping experience I had.

It does not fit. When I called to complain I was told to just cut the corner off and then it would fit. Your ads say they are laser measured to fit perfectly, the cargo liner does not fit!
Looks and fits great
This is a great quality product. It fits my 2014 Highlander Limited perfectly. Also, I was very pleased with etrailer.com shipping my cargo liner right away. I selected regular ground shipping, and the product came pretty quick. Thank you!
When I received the mat, I warmed it in the sun to soften it and dropped it into place for a perfect fit in the kinda quirky space of a Bolt EV. It's especially handy on a nursery run when we come back with dripping wet plants with soil attached. Just pop it out, dump out the water, soil, etc and pop it back in. After a year of faithful service, we highly recommend this product.
Perfect fit for the 2025 Lexus GX 550 6 seater model, given Lexus does not make a large cargo mat/liner. Just let it sit out in the sun for 5 mins and it will unfurl and be ready tor installation.
I purchased the WeatherTech mats for the front and for the cargo area of my '17 Chevy Bolt. The front floor mats fit perfectly once they were warmed up in the house to make them more flexible. To me, WeatherTechs are more plastic-like than rubber-like but they do the job. I had issues with the cargo mat. Be aware that there are different mats for the "false floor" and the floor in the cargo well for the Bolt and this wasn't clear at the time of my purchase. Make sure you know which mat you want to save return and repurchase.
Perfect fit
The WeatherTech liner fits well in the back of our new Toyota Sienna and provides the protection we wanted for the interior when we travel. We normally stow the third row seats since it's just the wife, dog, and I travelling so the mat protects the stowed seats/carpet from the soiling and wear/tear of our luggage, gear, etc.
We are extremely pleased with both the product and the great service.

I very much like etrailer (vendor) but this particular product (weather tech cargo liner) does not meet my full expectations. It fits nicely in vehicle when 3rd row seating is folded down but when 3rd row seating is up you have to remove the weather tech cargo liner. The OEM version from KIA has a fold such that when the 3rd row seating is raised, the cargo liner simply folds back on itself (and fits nicely regardless if the 3rd row is up or down).

Just installed it fits well it was kinda rolled up so it still isn't laying flat but I'm sure it'll get sorted out
