Easily plug this custom harness into your towed car to get the turn and brake signals you need for flat towing. Unlike other kits out there, this harness protects your vehicle from electrical feedback without you needing to splice in extra diodes.
When you're towing a car behind your motorhome, you'll need a way to get the tail, brake, and turn signals from your RV to the car to be safe and legal. This kit plugs into factory ports on your vehicle so your car can display the electrical signals coming from your motorhome. That way everyone on the road knows what your rig is up to as you tow.
This is a completely plug-and-play option for your vehicle, so the installation of this kit will be quick and easy.
While this kit has everything you need to get your towed car wired and ready, you'll still need some gear to get moving. To connect to your RV's electrical, you'll need an umbilical, and you'll need to make sure the plugs on that cord match the ones on your RV as well as the 4-way that's now on your car. If your RV has a 7-way, C57271 is a great option.
Something else to think about is whether or not you need a brake light relay. If your car's brake lights illuminate when the engine is off, you'll need to install a relay (RM-88400 - sold separately) to make sure the brake signal overrides the turn signal sent by your RV when you're slowing down to turn while towing.
And of course, there are a ton of other parts and accessories that will make towing your vehicle easy. Feel free to shop around our site or drop us a line if you have any questions. And once you get all set up, don't forget to send us a review full of pictures so we can see your rig out on the open road!

Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer.com. Today, we're looking at a Blue Ox EZ Light Tow Bar Wiring Kit. So, folks, a flat-tow wiring harness like this basically is gonna display your RV's tail brake turn signals on the towed vehicle. So, when you're towing a car behind your motor home, you're gonna need a way to get the brake lights, taillights, and turn signals from the RV to the car, that way you're safe and legal, so you wanna be lit up whenever people are behind you as you're flat-towing. This is gonna do just that. It simply plugs into the factory ports on your vehicle, and it's gonna then connect to the motor home connection at the front of the car, the back of the motor home with this four-flat connector here.
So, again, simple plug and play. You'll unplug the taillight harness, these will plug right back in to where you unplug that taillight assembly on the towed vehicle. You're also gonna get some brackets, some dielectric grease for the connectors, and then some cable ties here and screws just to be able to mount all this up safely and correctly into the vehicle. It also comes with this converter here, the style converter, and basically that's gonna be the brains of the outfit, but also it's gonna help regulate the output, the wattage and those kinda things back to the towed vehicle to be sure you're not getting any feedback and that you're displaying everything correctly and safely. Well, that's gonna wrap it up for our look together, folks.
I'm Steven, thanks so much for our time together, I hope it's been helpful. Have a good one.
