This 5/8" expandable hose gives you 60' of reach for washing cars, trucks, and side-by-sides, then shrinks to about 21' when empty for easier storage. Standard 3/4" connections fit common hose accessories. Not for drinking water.
A full-size hose gives you room to work around your car, truck, or side-by-side, but it can be a pain to carry and put away afterward. This expandable hose reaches 60' during use, then contracts to approximately 21' when empty so it takes up less room between washes. Its flexible, kink-free design stays manageable as you move around the vehicle, and four included tire glides help the hose slide past the tires instead of getting pinched or stuck.
The nozzle end uses a 3/4" heavy-duty brass connector, while the spigot end uses a durable 3/4" nylon connector designed to create a tight seal. An integrated shut-off valve puts water-flow control at the hose, and the standard connections fit most nozzles, sprinklers, and other common hose accessories. This hose is intended for vehicle washing and other non-potable utility tasks. It is not drinking-water safe, so keep it separate from any hose used for drinking water or an RV fresh-water supply.
A latex inner liner helps resist punctures and tears, while the abrasion-resistant outer jacket protects the hose during regular use around the driveway, garage, or campsite. Strain relief guards support the transition between the hose and its connectors, extending the bend radius at both ends. HydroTech's Force Control Technology also helps protect against bursting and breaking as water moves through the hose.

Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer. Let's take a quick look at this HydroTech expandable burst-proof auto care hose with tire glides. Now this expandable hose is designed to make everyday watering and RV use much easier compared to a traditional heavier garden type garden type hose. So when the water flows through this hose, the the hose is going to expand up to 60 feet long and that's going to give you plenty of reach for washing your vehicle, watering your plants, or cleaning around the camp. Once the water is turned off and drained, this is going to shrink down to about one-third of its full size.
So it's gonna take up far less storage space. As you can see here, this is obviously what it's going to look like when it's shrunken down and there's no water pressure to expand this, so it doesn't take up a whole lot of space at all. Now one of the biggest advantages of this is how lightweight it is. Weighs a little under four and a half pounds when it's empty. So it's about 75% lighter than your standard hose.
So it's gonna be very easy to carry to coil and to store without fighting that bulky rubber tubing. I'm a big fan of these hoses, especially since I have two of the traditional hoses at home that I have actually have connected together. It's just a pain when I'm done with it to roll that back up and to make it a little tidy just because of the material and how heavy it is. So I'm really interested in getting myself a few of these for use around my house. Now this hose is built with durability in mind.
Inside it uses a high quality latex liner that's gonna resist punctures tears and burst pressure while this outer protective jacket helps prevent abrasions and wear over time. This is also designed to stay kink free, so you're not gonna have to constantly stop to untwist or strengthen it while using it. Both ends are reinforced with strain relief guards, as you can see here. That's gonna strengthen the connection points and help prevent the hose from bending sharply or weakening near the fittings. And the connectors themselves are built for reliability as well.
The nozzle end uses a heavy duty three-quarter of an inch brass fitting for long lasting durability. And the spigot end uses a durable three-quarter of an inch nylon connector. That's going to create a tight seal at the faucet. And what I like about this is this also has an integrated shutoff valve that's built into the hose, allowing you to quickly control or stop the water flow without needing to walk back to your spigot. This is gonna work with most standard hose accessories, including spray nozzles and sprinklers. And then I was really surprised to see this, I don't think I've ever seen anything like this before. A unique bonus feature is the included set of four tire glides. These are placed near your vehicle's tires and they allow to the hose to slide smoothly around them instead of getting pinched. As you can kind of see there on your screen with those photos I put up there for you. So you're not gonna have to worry about the hose getting pinched or snagged or stuck underneath. That's gonna be especially useful for, again, your RVs, trailers, larger vehicles where the hoses do often catch a round tires, so you're gonna get four of these. They're plastic, so they're gonna hold up really well for you. So that's a great bonus feature that's included with this. One important note, this hose is not rated as drinking water safe, so it should only be used for general washing and utility purposes, but overall it's gonna be a great option for you to consider if you're looking for virtually a hassle-free way to use a hose, you know they're kind of gonna have to worry about the bulk of it, the weight of it. It's gonna be easy to manage, plus you get these bonus tire glides. I think that's gonna wrap up our look today. Again, my name is Andy. Thank you for joining me.
