Keep the interior of your vehicle clean with these functional, custom floor liners. Mats have a rigid plastic core for durability, and their unique, rubberized outer shell grips carpeting while it channels and traps water and debris.
Features:
WeatherTech floor liners accurately and completely line the interior carpet of your vehicle, providing "absolute interior protection" for your car, truck, minivan or SUV. Digital laser measurements of the interior surfaces offer a consistently perfect fit! The patent-pending, High-Density Tri-Extruded (HDTE) material features a rigid core for strength and produces surface friction with the carpet for better grip. Advanced surfacing creates channels that carry fluids and debris to a lower reservoir, which has more channeling to help minimize fluid movement while you are driving. Once fluids become trapped in the reservoir, away from shoes and clothing, they are easily removed from the WeatherTech FloorLiner over the door sill.

Today on our 2008 Dodge Ram 2500 we're going to be taking a look at the Weather Tech front floor mats in black, part number WT440121, also available in grey, part number WT460121 and in tan, part number WT450121. I really like the way that these floor mats contour the floor board of the vehicle, and they help to provide that superior protection but also you have that confidence in knowing that nothing is getting off of these floor mats that's going to get ground into the carpet, so you don't have to worry about cleaning the carpet underneath nearly as often as you would with factory floor mats. Here you can see the factory floor mat. Overall, it gives us coverage right down here along the bottom, but it doesn't give us coverage to keep from getting anything underneath it there as you can see debris. Then here under the pedals you can see that doesn't give us very good coverage, so it's collecting dirt and debris right there. Now let's take this out and put our Weather Tech in. We'll slide our Weather Tech into place here.
Then down here it's got this hole, so that the factory hook that's in the floor for helping make sure floor mat stays in place goes right through that to help secure this down. This Weather Tech floor mat gives us much better coverage than the factory floor mat does because you can see it comes all the way over here to where it overlaps on the threshold. Then it comes up into this nice tall lip that goes all the way around and up underneath the pedals. Then over here on the center console we've still got this nice raised lip that's going to continue all the way to the base of the seat. Then that same lip runs right across the front of the seat here.
Then down here on the base of this floor mat, you can see these ridges and channels. What these do is to help contain any mess or debris that may get down onto here, so that it can't go too far one way or another and then risk getting off of this floor mat. Those help with that along with those raised edges, helping sure that nothing is going to escape off this floor mat onto the carpet underneath. Over here on the passenger side we've got the factory floor mat again. As you can see, it gives us decent coverage but not great to where things are still able to get off and get underneath. Let's remove this one and put in our Weather Tech.
As you can see, in much like on the driver's side, this one has a very nice tight fit. Although there's no hook over here, it fits so tightly that you're not going to have to worry about this freely moving on and going anywhere. Again, we've got this coverage that wraps nicely all the way around well up under the dash and continuing all the way around up to the base of the seat. You can even see where they've paid attention to detail, and you've got the little cutouts here to help go around the bolts that are on the front of the seat brackets. In order to clean these floor mats you simply remove them from the vehicle. You can clean them with soap and water, or you can pick up the Weather Tech cleaner and protector kit, part number WT8LTC36K and then simply air or towel dry them.
That's going to complete our look at the Weather Tech front floor mats in black, part number WT440121 on our 2008 Dodge Ram 2500.
