How's it going, neighbors Today we're gonna take a look at the all-vehicle mats from WeatherTech, and see how well they fit on our 2025 Chevrolet Trailblazer. Now these guys are universal mats, so you will need to trim 'em to fit the interior, however they have that WeatherTech quality you come to know. So let's take a closer look and see how they're made and see how well they fit. Okay, so just to give it a comparison, we can see what we have going up against the OEM mats. Now you can see they're gonna cover, pretty much the same space on the driver and passenger, and in the rear about the same as well. What you're picking up with this is gonna have that over-the-hump protection that you can trim around the hump to make sure it fits right where you need it, and you're gonna get that additional protection along the edge of your carpet.
So let's throw it on the inside and see how it fits. So as far as the lines here, you can see it gives you a pretty clear cut of where you can make your slices to customize it to your Trailblazer. So I'm gonna drop this guy right in here, and you can see, your pedals are gonna fall right into where the space is for those guys. Now on one side, I feel like it's pulling a little bit, but once you get it in, you should be okay. Now, with this being semi-custom, there is a degree of not being exact, and that's when I would actually suggest switching over to maybe going to one of the HP liners, that'll also give you more coverage on the sides, and it'll be more customized as far as the fit.
Like your dead pedal, I'd cut that out, I'd probably just take this whole section right here, and then the bottom part there, and that would just be protection all through this way. But overall, it still has a lot of the same features that you're gonna find on your other WeatherTech mats. You have a little pool collection area for when you have ice and snow on your boots, or if you we inchesre to spill coffee, to keep it from going everywhere. And you also have the channels to route it down as well, so. Now, as far as on the passenger side, this guy fits pretty direct.
Like honestly, I wouldn't trim anything on here. It gives you a lot of protection at the top, and it drops right into place. But that is also the beauty of it being cuttable. So if you have this little space in here you just don't like, 'cause it's curling, you can trim it down a little bit, but it's gonna still offer that WeatherTech protection. Let's check out the backseat.
A lot of the same features that we already covered on the front is exactly the same in the rear, it's just contoured for a backseat. Plus, your over-the-hump protection. It wouldn't be a bad idea to move your seats completely up so you can see what you're working with. Now right in here, you can see, you're gonna have quite a bit to trim off. I would come down to maybe this second row, trim it about there, to give myself some protection under the seat itself, and maybe get some more down on this side to get it to lie more flush. Also, I'd trim around my tracks to get over my hump, and do about the same over here. Now, this is still gonna give you a lot of protection as far as the rug itself, but you wanna keep in mind, with it not being a custom fit, it won't be that exact, laser-precise WeatherTech floor liner fit. When I talk to my neighbors and my friends about floor mats, WeatherTech is one of the brands that come up quite often. They use solid materials, and even with the more value products, they're made outta real quality stuff. Once you get it in your vehicle, you trim it to size and you put it to work, let me know what you think.
