Hello, everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a look at this replacement standoff for the Stromberg Carlson exterior RV ladders. This is for a quantity of one standoff. Now, this will replace a standoff on your Stromberg Carlson exterior RV ladder. The ladder we sell separately, it's part number LA-401.
This part here will include one round standoff and the four mounting screws. Basically, the standoff is used to secure your exterior RV ladder to the side of your RV or to the rear of your RV. I did wanna pop up a insert just to show you how the ladder's attached. There's two of the standoffs that'll secure the ladder to the RV. Basically, this block piece is curved in here, is what'll go around the ladder, attaches to the ladder with this screw, and then the other end right here, the plate, and then the mounting screws are what'll attach the ladder to the RV and hold it in place.
This is an aluminum construction. Total length I'm gonna measure from here, not include the black plastic part, so just the length of the standoff itself. If we put a ruler on that, you can see it's right at 12 inches long. But that should do it for the review on the replacement standoff for the Stromberg Carlson exterior RV ladders.

Replaces 1 standoff for your Stromberg Carlson exterior RV ladder (LA-401). Includes 4 screws.Bought 2 ladder brackets to repair a broken ladder end that got caught and broke. My husband used the brackets and black 1 inch PVC conduit to replace the bottom rung of the ladder. We are pleased with the results of this repair and will no doubt be using etrailer.com for future products, as needed. I am attaching a few photos so you can see the struts and repair job. etrailer.com is very good for finding items needed for your RVs. Definitely recommend there products and their service is outstanding!!

Put two additional pairs on my fifth wheel trailer ladder. Very solid now, does not flex or wobble. Feels much better when climbing. Make sure you can screw to secure points on trailer body if installing extra for stability like this.
The part was used to replace an existing broken ladder support. Although the mounting bracket does not match the other one, the support itself worked very good.

Product is exactly as advertised. I couldn't find the correct length so I bought longer than needed and cut to size. Not the easiest thing to do, but it worked.

Great!! It was used to repair the ladder on the back of our 5th wheel. Still working great!!
