Today we're going to be taking a look at the rotary amber light, this is from Optronics; its part number is RB10a. These are good in any kind of situation you might find yourself in as far as an emergency's concerned whether it's on the job site, road hazard situation where you are on the side of the road; throw it on top of the car. Any time you see that blinking amber light it's really going to help to alert other motorists or help make you visible. It comes with a 10 foot coil cord, this is going to allow us to place it just about anywhere on the vehicle we need. It's got a nice magnetic base on it. This magnet's a nice strong magnet and we've got a protective cover.
It's steel on the back so it's going to transfer the magnets power fine. It's got a very low resistant, scratch resistant protection on there so it's not going to scratch your vehicles paint as you place it down on. The top cover will come off, very easy to remove. That's going to allow us to access the 1156 style bulb. It's just going to be a standard automobile blinker bulb, readily available anywhere you might have it.
If that bulb ever happens to wear out you'll be able to find a new one, get it replaced and get back on the road. Optronic stands behind their product as well. They're going to offer you a 3 year limited warranty on it. Now that we've gone over some of the features, we're going to head out and let you see what it looks like cruising around the parking lot. That's going to complete today's look at the Optronics amber rotary warning light with a 10 foot coil cord, part number RB10a. .
