Different jobs and state laws require different light colors, and swapping light bars isn't realistic. This light bar gives you in-cab control over 30 LEDs so you can change colors, patterns, and traffic modes instantly from one 60" bar.
Different jobs and state laws can call for different warning light colors, and swapping light bars isn't practical or realistic. This light bar gives you in-cab control over 30 individual light heads, with each one selectable between Amber, Blue, White, Red, or Off. You can change the signal from the touchpad and keep the bar matched to the job in front of you.
Install work gets held up fast when brackets, clamps, or cables are missing. Stainless steel adjustable brackets with gutter clamps are included, along with a 15' power cable, 30' control panel cable, and 18' stop/tail/turn cable. Hi, everyone, Steve here with etrailer. Today, we're taking a look at this Custer Full-Size Emergency Vehicle Light Bar. It features four different colors, amber, blue, white, and red, and it's 60 inches long. Now, folks, I do wanna warn you, if you're susceptible to light flashing patterns, those kinda things, go ahead and shut the video off now, because I'm getting ready to turn this on and it is gonna do some different flash patterns, strobe patterns, and those kinda things. Now, I do wanna turn this on from the get go, so you can kinda see in the daylight what you got going on here. Now, I just have it kind of wired up loosely today for demonstration, just to be able to do different flash patterns.
But do know you have stop, tail, and turn visibility options as well. Meaning when if it's not on and you're putting your left turn blink, your right turn, it's gonna flash that left side, that right side, depending on how you have it wired up from your installation. Now, this is gonna make braking and turning intentions clear also from an elevated position, because it's obviously roof mounted. Now, I do wanna zoom in, so you can see why it's going through different patterns, the control panel here. So Custer, as you know, if you've bought these before, they're really well known in the industry, make amazing products.
And you can see it's just showing you which lights are lit up when they're lit up, and then the numbered which light is doing, you know, which thing. And then over here, that's where I can push the button, spring loaded. I can change that flash pattern with the push of a button on the fly. And if I turn it off and I come back, next emergency, it's automatically picking up on the same pattern that it left off. So I do wanna turn off the overhead lights, and I will zoom out here, so we can see it in all its beauty.
So 11 flashes and 15 traffic patterns. This is gonna be a great option for you to be safe and seen from the side of the road. It of course meets the SAE J845 industry standards for emergency and warning light performances. And it also is IPX6 waterproof rated, so the housing can handle rain, spray, harsh roadside conditions. You are gonna get the complete kit here included.
You're gonna have the stainless steel adjustable brackets, you're gonna get the gutter clamps, and the three waterproof cables included. And the cables are labeled A, B, C, and they have twist-on connections as you can see on the image of your screen. And so, that's gonna give you a tight, waterproof connection right there as well. And the brackets, as I mentioned, everything stainless steel hardware, so these brackets are very robust. They mount up underneath on the side with pre-installed threads and everything that are down there. It's just too bulky on my stand here to flip it and show you, so that's why I threw the picture up for you to see those connections. As far as those cables, cable A is gonna be your power cable, it's 15 feet long. Cable B is your control panel cable, and that's the one that connects to the control panel, obviously, and it's 30 feet long, so that should be more than enough to reach where you need to put it. And cable C is gonna be that stop, tail, turn cable, and it's 18 feet long. Now, a lot of you guys out there and gals that are buying this, you're probably with the emergency management systems, police, firefighters, or whatnot, you probably have install people in-house, but if you don't, if you're a construction guy, gal, whatever, or if you're authorized to use something like this and you wanna do the install professionally, we do have an install locator tool in the link below and you can get paired up with a trusted etrailer tech in your area based on your zip code, and they can do the installation for you as well. So again, folks, we're sitting at 60 inches long. And that's gonna wrap up our quick look together at this Custer Full-Size Emergency Vehicle Light Bar. I'm Steven, thanks for watching.
