Use these 2 LED light pods to safely alert other motorists of a roadside emergency. The red warning lights can be seen from a 1/4-mile distance night or day, which gives other drivers more reaction time than they would have if you used standard hazard lights. Each light can stay illuminated for up to 40 hours, which is ideal if you have to leave your vehicle overnight.
The white LED work light at the top of each pod comes in handy for roadside repairs, camping, hiking, and more.
The magnetic base of each pod can be attached to the inside of your hood or other metallic surface.
Each light also has a swivel hook at the bottom that can be used to prop or hang the light up. And the base of each light can be threaded onto a backpack strap, which is perfect for a hiking or biking trip. Mounting pads are also included for a more permanent installation onto a wall or flat surface.
The housing on each light pod is weather resistant and can withstand rain or snow.

Speaker 1: Today we're going to take a look at the Reese Pod Hazard LED warning and work lights for a quantity of two. Now these pod hazard lights provide a nice convenient work light, and LED warning solution for roadside vehicle emergencies. This'll help you alert motorists of a roadside emergency with these two LED light pods. They provide about a quarter of a mile visibility for up to 40 hours.They are in a weather resistant plastic housing to withstand rain and snow. You can see, just twist it off the mounting pad. Now it does come with a high beam, and low beam LED, which has multiple uses of work light.
Ideal for roadside repairs, camping, hiking, reading, and more. And it also has red warning lights, which'll let you alert other motorists of a roadside emergency. Gives you seven different flash patterns.What I'm going to do now, is we're going to turn off the overhead lights. I just want to show you the lights and the different patterns. And as I mentioned, you can see you can twist it off the base.
There's your on and off button right here. So go ahead and turn off the overhead lights. So we're first going to do the high beam and low beam. So if you push it once, there's your high beam. Turn it off.
Push it another time, there's your low beam. Turn it off. Now you have the seven flash patterns.First one when you push it on, it'll be a red, double blink. Then you push it on again, it's a red, double pulse. Turn it off and back on, it's a red, single blink.
Nest one'll be a red rotate beacon, you can see as it rotates around. And then the fifth one is going to be an SOS rescue, so it gives you the Morse Code signal. And we go to the next one, that's the red alternate. And then the last one, you can see it'll give you a two red LED single blink.Turn on the overhead lights. Now it does include, I mentioned, this twist on mounting pad that can be permanently mounted. Now on the actual light, itself, it does have a magnet base on each pod, to allow installation almost anywhere you need a light. Just to show you here, I've got a piece of metal, you can see, having the magnet pad it'll stick to anything metallic.The mounting pad itself can be installed on a wall, or a flat surface with mounting screws. Also, has two integrated slots in the mounting pad, it can be used to thread a nice small strap through the base, so if you want to attach it that way. The magnet base we mentioned attaches to most metallic surfaces. And the other nice thing is right in the back here, if you flip it open, you can see it has a nice integrated swivel hook. So it can be either used to prop it up, or hang each light up, either way. And it just folds away out of the way.Now each unit does require three triple A batteries. They are required for operation. They are not included. You would have to supply those. Again, this is for a quantity of two light pods. The white LED work light that we showed you, the high beam on it, is 350 lumens. The low beam is 200 lumens. Running time on that would be about up to five hours, and that does give you 140 degree range of illumination.On the red LED warning lights that we're flashing, it's 14 diodes. Brightness on those is 213 lumens. Running time on those are up to 40 hours. And it does give you 360 degree range of illumination, up to about a quarter of a mile. Operating temperature on these pods is a negative four degrees fahrenheit, up to 140 degrees fahrenheit. And the last thing, I just want to give you a measurement on this light itself.Overall diameter at the widest point is going to be 3-3/8 inches. Overall height, it's going to be right at 1-7/8 inches tall. Does come with a nice set of detailed instructions or user's manual that describes how to operate it. But that should do it for the review on the Reese Pod Hazard LED warning and work lights for a quantity of two.
RPPD110200, POD Hazard LED Warning and Work Lights seem to be built sturdy and compact. It has multiple red hazard warning light modes to choose from with a very bright work light for illuminating sufficiently work areas for emergency repairs. The pod does have a variety of mounting selections with the detachable base and a integral hook to hang the pod with. The one feature that makes it difficult to remove the batteries from the pod I suppose is to secure the batteries from falling out of the pod's base. This will be a good substitute for carrying Highway flares for those times we might find ourselves on side of the dark road, waiting for assistance!
These are amazing!!! They come with twist lock mounting plates so you can twist lock them into any non magnetic surfaces. The lights are very bright providing you have 3 fully charged AAA batteries installed. The plastic hook has a limited range of rotation but still serves it’s purpose. The magnet on the back is decently strong compared to other magnet backed lights out there. The red flash patterns are excellent. The white light on the top is very bright - again dependent on how charged the batteries are.
I think the only way this would be any better is if it would support rechargeable lithium ion batteries like the 18650 batteries vs AAA batteries. But for the price this was definitely worth the purchase.
Great for keeping in the vehicle.

Very nice! Thankful, we haven’t had to use them. Family has been impressed with them. Keep them in the car with emergency stuff.
Price from etrailer.com was excellent, packaging was secure, delivery was on-time, product works just as advertised - which is exactly what I was after - and, like other purchasers, seriously considering adding another 2 two-packs for additional security should I need them during a roadside incident. Not to replace the cones that have reflective tape, the triangles, or even the flares that I also carry (to be used when appropriate), but surely adds to the visibility when it counts.
These lights are a great idea! I like all the different emergency red flashing light sequences. The work light is super bright and its magnetic base is perfect for hands free. Great product for our RV. Thanks.
These work great as an emergency strobe light while stranded alongside a road. Very bright and easy to use.
Liked the different ways that they can be attached to the vehicle. They make a great gift for any motorist since they are compact enough to fit in the glove compartment.
I can use these lights on the back of my early antique auto if I am caught out after dark, as the original tail lamp on the car is very dim.
