Hello neighbor, Steve here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at the Ericsson E-Track Storage Hook Square Body in a black powder coat finish. You're gonna get two of these with purchase. Now folks, these are what we call a J style, obviously shaped like a letter J, and they are storage hooks that simply snap into your E-Track, which is sold separately and they both have a spring-loaded lever up top, and then they go into the E-Track with that slot on the bottom. So more likely than not, you're familiar with these and how E-Track works, so I won't get into too much detail on that, but they're gonna allow you to hang cargo inside your trailer. I've seen some people, if you notice this is about the width of a two by four, maybe a little bigger, I've seen some people put these in and then put a two by four on it and then screw attachments and whatnot to that two by four, and then they can just pull the two by four out when they want to change space and all that.
I mean, honestly, your possibilities are limitless to your mind. And they are a squared-off J shape. So again, hanging boards, other construction material, and they can be easily removed up or down with the E-Track slots. And again, they have a nice black powder coat finish. As far as some dimensions, now overall, I get about three and a half inches long, and inside to inside on that hook is two inches.
Now keep in mind up here where it's open, bigger, it may be a little wider, two and an eighth, but pretty much it's two inches in between there. So I always give the overall smallest that way you know whatever you're putting in there is gonna make it all the way down to the bottom if you need it to. Now, as far as this height here, if you count that upper spring hook, it's about three and four-fifth inches tall. And again, these are black powder coated finish over heavy duty steel, nice construction. They're not gonna break on you or wear down over time.

As with most e-track products, this hook works well and does what it supposed to. I believe it could be improved however if the manufacturer offered a hook with a spring latch so items couldn't accidently fall off while the trailer goes over a bumpy road or something. If there is a product out there, I haven't seen it.
The pull down lever would also be better if it were wider, like thumb width; would be easier on the fingers. Otherwise, great product.
These hooks make great utility storage in my trailer for electric cords, air hoses, ladders etc. If you're considering storage, consider using the "E" track with these hooks (and many more accessories)
Had these in our last trailer that we just sold, wanted them in our new trailer. This system is so great, it's the answer to any strapping or tie down solution - we would not be without these.
The track is good. I have not gotten to use it much since I put it in a trailer that is used for sound engineering and the coronavirus pretty well squashed all the business. But I like it and I'm happy with the product.
Bought replacement truck in MOORE, OK and ordered hitch and accessories via iPhone in route back to Chicago. Order was there one day after returning and installed the following weekend.
Hitch fit and looks like the OEM option and helpful video made the install a snap... did it in my driveway.

It looks to be well built. We have only put one in the trailer so far but looks good and is functioning properly.
I'm a High School Band Director who uses a trailer to get instruments from performance venue to school and back. My previous trailer didn't have any E-track hardware and I just did the best we could. There was always a great deal of shifting of equipment during transport. Now that my current trailer has E-track hardware, I can secure all of my equipment easily and quickly reorganize the entire trailer according to the job's requirements. If you've not got E-track, get it. It's more than worth it's cost in saving of time and convenience.
