Hi there. I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a quick look at the tailor-made top side profile rubber dock edging. This is going to attach to your dock and it's going to help protect your boat from being scuffed by the dock. You can see in this closeup that it is going to fit on both the top and the side of your dock to help provide protection on both edges there so that you're not going to have to worry about your boat bumping up to your dock. It is going to fit snugly on that corner of your dock.
This is an EPDM rubber. So it is going to hold up well in those harsh marine environments, but it's also going to be a nice, soft surface, so if your boat does bump up against it, it's not going to cause any damage.It is a flexible rubber. So it is going to be easy to get installed. Just put some nails or screws in on the top inside there to get it held in place. This is right about two and a half inches tall.
When you have it hooked onto your dock like that, it's going to give you right about . I'd call about an inch of bumper there. And it is right about six feet long. So you can see that it is going to give you a lot of length here. So depending on the length of your dock, where you are hooking your boat up to, will determine how long of a piece you need.
So if you need a little bit less than that, you can always cut this down. It is pretty firm rubber, so it might be a little bit difficult to do.If you need more, you can obviously get as many as you need to get your setup so that you can protect your boat from scuffing on that dock. This is made here in the USA. So it's nice to know that not only is it help helping support the American economy, but it's also made to those high quality standards that you expect. So if you're in the market for a protective device to keep your boat from getting scuffed up when it's docked, I think there's going to be a great option for you.
