By attaching these mirrors to your factory side-view mirrors, you'll be able to see past the end of your trailer so you can safely change lanes, pass other motorists, and park. The housing of each slide-on mirror is constructed of durable ABS plastic, as are the included components.
This set fits factory mirrors like those pictured above.
These towing mirrors are designed to seamlessly fit the contours of your factory side-view mirrors. Each one includes felt padding inside the housing that protects the factory mirror body from scratches and scuffs. Installation is a snap - just slide the towing mirror over your OEM mirror and insert the provided arm and hand knob through the back of the mirror housing. Then hook the arm around the inside edge of your OEM mirror. Finally, tighten the hand knob to secure the towing mirror in place.

Today on this 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee, were going to test fit part number CTM3400, and this part number has mirrors for both sides of the vehicle. To start off our test fit, were going to go ahead and slide it over a factory mirror and push it up as far as possible, and we make that sure the outside edges match up to the edges of the factory mirror. Next well go ahead and install our hardware. There will be a hook that installs from the mirror side and goes towards the front. Then well install our knob. Well turn it down and make sure that the hook is secured on the other side, and then tighten it down for good.
All right, thats all it takes to install our mirror. Were done with our passengers side. Lets go ahead and repeat the same process over on the drivers side. With that, that will finish it for our test fit of part number CTM3400, Longview Custom Towing Mirror, on our 1993 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The mirrors were very easy to install and do increase slightly the viewing area to the sides of my trailer. They take a little "getting used to" because when I check my rear view mirrors I'm presented with two views which is a little confusing at first. I was disappointed to discover that they don't provide better view of vehicles that are directly behind my unit.
