Installation
This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your vehicle's wiring harness, which is located in the rear cargo area. You will have to remove the rear threshold plate, privacy screen, storage covers and floor covering to access this harness.
Once you've plugged in the T-connector, run the hot lead up to your car battery. Connect the lead to the included fuse holder, and then connect the fuse holder to the positive terminal on your battery and insert the provided fuse.
Once installation is complete, the 4-way flat connector will be stowed in your rear cargo area.
It is recommended that you use a small amount of grease on all electrical connections - the plugs on your automobile and the 4-pole connector itself - to help prevent corrosion.
A ModuLite power module is built into this T-One connector. With a ModuLite, your trailer's lights will be powered without overloading your vehicle's electrical system. Because the module draws power directly from your car's battery and bypasses the electrical routes that are used by a basic wiring harness, there is virtually no draw on your tail light circuits.

Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness. This is gonna add a 4-way flat trailer connector at the back of your vehicle, so you can hook up to your trailer's lights to make sure that your light signals from your vehicle are being sent back to your trailer's lights, so other motorists can better see if you're driving at night, if you're turning and stopping, so it's gonna be much safer for everybody. This wiring harness is specifically designed to fit your 2022 and newer Chevrolet Bolt EUV. This is gonna be super simple to get installed, they do have these clips here that will plug right into your existing wiring, so you're not gonna have to cut any of your vehicle's wires to get this installed, so it is gonna be very straightforward. They do include very detailed instructions on how to get everything installed, you will need to remove some trim pieces and that sort of thing to get back to those connection points, but very straightforward process, definitely something that you can do on your own in a weekend, you're not gonna have to worry about taking it to a mechanic or anything like that, definitely something you can deal on your own.
This 4-way flat trailer connector is gonna be compatible with your 5-pole, 6-pole, and 7-pole adapters, so if your trailer has something other than that 4-pole connector, we do have adapters available for you here at etrailer.com that will allow you to adapt from the 4-pole to fit the 5-pole, 6-pole, or 7-pole that your trailer uses. Does come with this dust cap to help cover up those connections if you are gonna be storing this outside your vehicle, you can easily hang this on your hitch. So definitely a great option for you if you're going to be towing a trailer, you're wanting to have lights, this is gonna do a great job for you. This uses a ModuLite power converter, it's going to ensure that your vehicle's wiring matches that of your trailer, so sometimes there's a different wiring between your vehicle and your trailer, this is gonna convert it, so that your trailer's lights will function properly. This is also going to connect to your battery, so it's going to avoid overloading your vehicle's electrical system.
It will provide five amps per circuit for your stop and turn lights, and 7 1/2 amps per circuit for your tail lights. Quick overview of how this is gonna get installed, like I said, they do include very detailed instructions to walk you through every step of the way, but this is going to connect back behind your panel on your driver's side, it's gonna plug right in place of the original, so you'll disconnect the original connections there and plug this in, then you'll wrap this over to your driver's side and passenger's side, you'll plug those in inline with your lights, so it's gonna reconnect that circuit, so your lights will perform properly even if you don't have everything, if you aren't hooked up to your trailer, they're still gonna operate properly. This black wire is gonna run up to your battery, so they do include an extension wire here and a couple of butt connectors, so you can get that wired together. Once you get up to your battery compartment, of course, you are gonna wanna make sure that you're staying away from anything hot or moving that could damage this wire as you're routing it up to your battery. They do include these ties here, so that you can keep that up and out of the way.
Once you get to your battery compartment, you are gonna use the fuse holder here, you'll cut this in half, one end will connect to your extension wire, the other end is going to connect to your ring terminal and be put on the positive post on your battery, and then of course, you have your fuse there to put in. They also include the ground wire with the ring terminal on there and a self tapping screw, so you can get that put in place, and a little bit of double-sided tape here, so these can mount your unit to a flat surface. So very, very simple overview, and like I said, they are gonna walk you through every step of the way with the instructions here, so definitely a simple process, you're not gonna have to worry about cutting and splicing your vehicle's wires, which could damage your vehicle, and this is gonna be a straightforward plug and play kinda system, so definitely a great way of making sure that you're able to safely tow your trailer and have those lights functioning properly. So that's gonna complete our look for today. Again, I'm Michael with etrailer.com.
