Hello neighbors, Steven here with etrailer.com. Let's take a look at our Durabilt ratchet chain binder with grab hooks for 5/16 to 3/8 in chains rated at 7,100 pounds. Now folks, this ratchet chain binder with the grab hooks, will let you tie that equipment on your trailer. It's gonna be great for maybe agricultural or industrial tie down applications. And the ratcheting mechanism here is going to tighten down and maintain tension on your chains. Now with this one, you've even got a extension position here that you can pull up and stuff, and that'll help you give you safely release intention and remove the binder as well.
It gives you an option for freeze pull position, so you can pull this up and then if your chains we inchesre tied down, you could then spin this. And if you watch over here, this is getting looser as I spin the middle, and if I spin it back, I can quickly tighten everything back up and take all the threads out of the equation that way. And then when I need to, I can just ratchet it back. So, very nice, cool little feature there. It does have an enclosed gear housing that protects that mechanism from dirt and debris.
It's all hidden, you can't see it at all. It's all internal there. Everything's been zinc plated as far as the edges and everything. And the middle here is a forged powder coated steel metal, very heavy duty and it's gonna resist corrosion and the nice red color's just highly visible. Easier to see whenever you're putting everything together and using it.
Now, throw some dimensions on the screen for you as far as that goes. Well, while that's up there, I'll let you know this has been DOT certified. It meets all FM CSA 40, CHP, CVSA and WSTA standards as well. The whole thing's pretty lightweight, about 10 and a half pounds. And again, has the nice ratcheting system and the adjustable knobs there for quick takeup extension and free spool.
Folks, that's gonna wrap it up for a quick look at this nice ratchet chain binder. I'm Steven, thanks so much for your time. Stay safe out there while you're towing.
