Hi there RV owners, today we're going to be taking a look at Valterra's wash and wax RV cleaner. This RV cleaner is going to be great for the exterior of your RV. That's not only going to break up the dirt and debris that's on it. It's going to leave it with a nice, shiny finish. It's also going to protect it with the included wax. Now we'll show you how to use it.

I've gone ahead and already mixed it up, and I've made a couple of different batches for the various situations that you can use it in. I've poured most of it into our power washer, which we're going to be using on here, and I've also taken two ounces, and mixed it with a gallon of water, and that's what you would do if you wanted to just hand wash your RV, as you can see, my pop-up camper here is in pretty rough condition.I had it sitting all summer. I didn't end up using it this year, and it's gotten into a pretty bad state. So this winter we're going to be cleaning it up here, and reviving it. So we're going to start by using some of our Valterra cleaner here to get all this gunk off, so we can take a look at it.

In order to use this with my pressure washer, I'm going to be using Griot's Garages pressure washer concentrate attachment. This is going to hook onto your pressure washer, and it's going to automatically mix and foam on the vehicle. You can pick up this here at etrailer.com. We'll start by applying the foam with our pressure washer.You can see here that we've got it completely covered in the foam mixture that our pressure washer has put out when mixed with the Valterra. We're going to let this sit on here for a few minutes here, and it's going to start breaking up that dirt and debris, and then that heavy foam is going to start to run off, and it's going to drag that dirt with it. So we'll come back here in a few minutes, and take a look at it. Now, if you don't have a pressure washer or you prefer to do things the old fashioned way, you can use the included sponge, and mix up your own solution in a bucket. Now, remember you want to use two ounces of solution to one gallon of water, and then just like you would with soap and water, just scrub her down.We left our foam on there for a bit, but I wanted to show you here that you can see that it's breaking up the dirt below it.

We've had quite a bit of grime built up here, and our foam was taken that away, and whether you're using your finger, you see it just wipes right off or your sponge, and it just takes it right away, with minimal effort. It's been on there for several minutes now, so we're going to go back with our power washer now, just with our regular fanned end, and we're going to spray it off.While rinsing it off, I decided to stop, so we could take a look at the areas that I've cleaned versus the areas that I haven't yet. Now, for some of your trouble spots, you might have to go back and use a little elbow grease on it. We're using a soft bristle brush here, and you can see it's taken those trouble spots off with ease.Now on our pop-up here, we cleaned our passenger side with the Voom cleaner and we cleaned the driver's side with the Valterra cleaner, and both came out looking great. I will say that the Valterra did come out a little bit better. It's a little bit whiter and cleaner looking on the Valterra side, versus our Voom side. So while the Voom didn't perform quite as well on the exterior as the Valterra, I'd have to say the Voom is a great value because of how many different surfaces you can use it on. Now, if you're going for a show look, then I would choose the Valterra, as it's going to give your exterior a better look. In reality, it's really not a bad idea to pick up a little bit of both. You can use this to keep the inside nice and clean and use this to keep the outside with a show quality finish.I believe it probably looks a little bit better due to the fact that our Valterra here is a wash and wax, because it almost seems to leave the surface with just more of a sheen than the Voom does. I got to say, in the end, I'm impressed with both of our cleaners here. My pop-up here is almost 20 years old, and it's really brought a new facelift to it, being nice and clean. We finished up cleaning our pop-up here with our Valterra cleaner and it came out really nice. We've got a nice white shine coming off of the surface of our camper. Now there are a couple of blemishes that you're not going to fix with cleaner. I'm going to have to go back with a little bit of touch up paint on a few areas, but for being a 20 year old camper, I think it came out great, and that completes our look at Valterra wash and wax RV cleaner..
