What's up here, everybody. It's AJ with etrailer.com. Today we're gonna checking out the Tailgater Tire Table. This is a table that will attach to your tire. You got a loop that goes around there to keep it steady, with a third leg here, and it's gonna be used as a table for on the go. So, it's not gonna take up that much space in your basement doors.
It's gonna work on your RVs, your motor homes. It'll even work with some off-road vehicles that have a tire on the back. Let's check it out. Covering a black powder coat steel. And you have this open design on the top, so it's not like a solid top, it's got these holes in there, which is good.
So if you spill something it kind of just goes onto the ground, you don't have to worry about clean up the table too much, and you don't have to worry about the elements getting to it. So if it starts to rain or something like that, the powder coat is gonna help protect it from rust and corrosion. The table is gonna have 27-1/2" to 31" of usable space up top. Also has a weight capacity of 75 lbs. So, I think that's plenty for this type of table, you're not supposed to use it as a step or climb up there yourself.
I think it's gonna be great for, you know, cups or small coolers like this, and some snacks out there. It's gonna be more than enough. Something else to think about is gonna be your tire size. So it's gonna work with tires of 25" in diameter and up. So just think about that with whatever tire you wanna use this with.
I talked about your basement door and how much space is in there. You can see on this big motor home, you'll think all these compartments would be wide open like this one. This is actually the only one like this. This one has more of wall up front, so there's not as much space. So, the little space you have is really important. So we're gonna throw the table in there and see if it'll fit. It looks like height-wise, it won't fit like this, you kinda just gonna angle it. Luckily there's more top room in here, so I can kind of push it to the back. See how little space that takes up We can even put some of the totes back in there, that where in there. And we even have some room to spare. So I could get that folding chair maybe in there too. It really maximizes the little space we have on this motor home. Now, I don't think a folding table is gonna work out so well but let's check it out. Now with our folding table, there's not enough room in this compartment to get it in there. I might be able to wedge it in, but no, it's not gonna twist at all or go. We have a section here that if it wasn't there, you might be able to get it to fit in, but it'd be kind of hard to get it out if you got it in perfectly. Plus, defeats the purpose of having the table. You want it to be easy to get out and set up, for wherever you're parked, and this isn't gonna do that. So you have to kind of sacrifice space somewhere inside to bring one of these folding tables, which just kind of isn't worth it, just limiting on space on the inside. Anyway, I'd rather have that smaller table, put in there far easier, and still be able to put more cargo in. Now, let's set it up on the tire. It's not quite as easy as a folding table, I'm not gonna lie, but it's not too bad. So you have the buttons here, that you push in. So I'll show you, they're silver, just push 'em in and slide these out. And these are gonna slide now into this portion here, which is gonna help hold onto the tire. So make sure you put the silver tab. pointing out towards the hole on this portion. So you see the holes on the side, so you're gonna line this up to the side too. Another thing that helps is you got this. sandpaper like material, right there on the end. That's gonna go towards the tire. So remember that when you're putting these in place. With those put in like that, we can loosen the knobs right here. And that's gonna allow you to pull this section up. This is gonna be adjustable to whatever tire you wanna set it on. So, let's get it out just a little bit for now, 'cause we're gonna have to tighten it back up when we set it on the tire. So then, we're gonna bring it over to the tire. Go over the first one. This is dual tires here, so it doesn't have to go over both of 'em, you just go in between, but just enough to be there. And you wanna push it up against the tire. So you see how it kind of hangs down a little bit Don't let it do that. Just push it up against the tire, then come back underneath and adjust the hand knob. So we'll tighten 'em back up, to kind of hold it in place. Had to get away there, just a little bit, to adjust this. And then, we'll come up here, underneath the table, and push this silver button in here. Then our leg will come out and help us hold it up. So you can see how it doesn't sit too stable right now. But that's because we don't have this adjusted just quite yet. So once again, use this hand knob to loosen this. So it drops down, meets the ground, and then tie it back up. And it's still a little bit loose. Here's a quick tip. And you can go ahead and loosen those knobs again. And since there's a little bit more play, on the back side of the tire, we'll loosen this. On both sides. And it's okay that the third other leg is out here, 'cause it's gonna help stabilize it. But you can kind of reach back there, grab the back bar that's behind the tire, and kind of hold that, and then kind of push the table in just a little bit more. That way it gets it a little tighter around that tire and it'll stabilize the table in general. So that seems good right there. And I'll just tighten it back down. Overall, I think this is a handy table to have. I think I like it a lot better than trying to load a whole folding table in and out of your rig. Just trying to fit that in a basement door, it's a gonna be kind of a pain. I like this takes a far less space and gets the job done. There's still plenty of room for if there was someone else on that side and someone else here. Plenty of room for our drinks and our snacks. So, I think it's gonna work out great. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out and I hope this helped..
