Today we're looking at this Active Control Soft Start for your home ACs, and it's a 40 amp. so what is a Soft Start Well, quite frankly, a Soft Start is a device that basically helps start your air conditioner, the compressor specifically, so that it's not gonna be bothered by as much energy to start it. It's not gonna be as noisy to start it and those kind of things. So it actually has an 80% reduction in startup amps for efficient AC startup and use.
It is a dual voltage, so that means it's gonna work with both 115 volt and 230 volt AC systems for a very versatile operation. It's very simple to wire up. You got the four wires here that's gonna be simple, hassle-free. Compressor connection, and it gives you diagrams and everything as well on how to connect it. It also comes with a nice set of instructions.
You get the wire connectors here, some screws from mounting it, and some cable ties to keep the wires clean after you've installed it. It also has Bluetooth monitoring, so there's an app you can download from the manufacturer and that'll give you real time faults and everything. As you can see, you've got a 3M adhesive. You'd peel off that side and stick it in place. Use the included screws to mount it securely.
