Since the spare tire is located inside the rear of the vehicle 1974 International Scout the cover is still like new.

Working perfectly. Still very strong and protecting rear tire from UV rays. Snug fit but well designed and manufactured.

Fine. However, since it covers a spare tirewheel on roof of camper-van, I take it off when we are on a trip. @ highway speeds the wind will, inevitably, blow it off when mounted on roof.

After a year, still working well. Did manage to have it taken off accidentally by a car wash, but put it back on without a problem. I am actually using it on a Mitsubishi Montero.

The Bestop Tire Cover is doing okay after a year. It is always uncovered regardless of the weather including at least 55 days of 100+ degrees. The cover is on my gooseneck trailer and the spare tire lays horizon. I melted a small hole in the center to allow the rain water to drain. The cover has faded a bit but not as bad as expected. The only negative that I have to report is the elastic has gone totally limp. This was surprising because being mounted horizontally, the elastic is always in the shade and direct sunlight under the tire and was never over stretched. The cover is always remove the the trailer is being towed. Overall, I am happy with the cover. The manufacturer should consider adding a small hole in the center for horizontal mounting and maybe four small hole 90 degrees apart at the elastic band to accommodate the attachment of bungie cords once the elastic gives out.
