These frame-mounted tie-downs keep your camper locked in tight so your truck handles like it should. The brackets mount directly to the truck’s frame—the strongest part of the vehicle—helping distribute weight evenly and lower the camper’s center of gravity. That balance keeps sway and shifting under control even in crosswinds or on rough highways, giving you a steady, predictable ride mile after mile.
When you’re not hauling, you don’t have to live with bulky brackets sticking out. The inserts slide out easily, leaving only the receivers tucked nearly flush beneath the truck. With the arms removed, the system is virtually invisible, so you keep your clean truck profile without giving up hauling capability.

These tie-downs bolt straight into pre-existing holes in the frame for a custom fit and simple setup. There’s little to no drilling needed, so you won’t have to modify anything or worry about lost ground clearance. The tight fit also keeps everything solid and in line for long-term use.
Made of heavy-duty steel with a high-impact powder coat finish, the tie-downs are built to handle rough conditions and resist corrosion. From long highway runs to backcountry trails, this durable setup stays strong and reliable through weather and road grime alike.
Each tie-down arm gives you two pin holes so you can set your reach just right for your turnbuckles. That extra adjustability helps clear fenders or sidewalls while keeping solid contact with your camper anchors. Once tightened with turnbuckles (sold separately), your camper stays planted and secure from multiple angles for confident travel.

Jeff: Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today, we're going to take a look at the Torklift custom rear frame-mounted camper tie-downs. Now, this is a custom fit part. It is designed to fit the 2019 and newer RAM 1500 trucks with the six and a half foot bed without the board, or the step underneath the truck bed. And on a custom fit part like this, I always like to recommend for you to go to our website, use the fit guide, put in your year and model vehicle, and it'll show if this'll work for your application. Now, these tie-downs provide attachment points at the rear of your truck for securing your bed mounted camper to your vehicle.
Now, the front tie-downs we do sell separately on our website. Basically, one tie-down will go on the driver's side, one on the passenger side. And you'll see the two holes here on the tie-down inserts. This allows you to connect your turnbuckles from your camper to your truck, and not interfere with anything on your vehicle. Also on the shank, there's two holes on the shank of these inserts which allow for different width campers. Right now I have it for this hole.
If you pull out the pin, you can actually slide it in a little bit more and then pin it there. So, just depending on the width of your camper, you can adjust it by putting it into which hole you need. Once you get the hole lined up, you just go ahead and clip it in there. You're ready to go. Now, you will feel dramatic improvement with the vehicle handling and stability, and it's the safest way to haul a truck camper.
Prevents any vehicle sway and camper movement in all directions.Basically, you can haul your truck camper confidently by attaching your tie-downs to the strongest part of your truck, which will be the frame. And the vehicle manufacturers do recommend that a full height sliding camper body should be directly attached to the vehicle frame structure. The frame-mounted design ensures excellent handling by securing the camper to the truck's base instead of just to its bed, which will better distribute the weight to keep the setup from being too top heavy. Also helps avoid any bed or bumper damage that's common with other tie-down systems. This is a fast no-drill installation, securing your truck camper to your truck. You can maintain the value of your truck and prevent rust and bed damage by avoiding having to drill any holes into your truck bed or bumper.
Again, this is custom fit for your vehicle. Driver's side and passenger side brackets. The brackets are designed to fit tight to the truck fame, and there's no loss of any ground clearance, so it's perfect for off-road truck camping. And what's nice when you're not using these, you can just take the clip, remove the insert. And then after the inserts are removed, then these are virtually undetectable when they're not in use because they're underneath the vehicle. And then when you go to look up your camper, you can just slide it in again to the correct hole you need. Put your pin through there, clip it, and you're all ready to go. Basically, the hidden design of these brackets will return your truck to its original look when they're not being used as tie-downs.These are a nice steel construction. They have a nice black powder coat finish on them for durability. Does include everything laid out here on the table. The two rear tie-down inserts, which are the inserts are right here. The frame brackets themselves, all the necessary hardware for installation, and even a nice set of instructions that'll describe how to hook everything up. This part is made in the USA. But that should do it for the review on the Torklift custom rear frame-mounted camper tie-downs.

It definitely is safe the way you have them, Paul! In a perfect world, the turn buckles would be perfect vertical, but this an imperfect world and not all campers have the attachment points in the same place. If you take a look at some of the installed pictures on the TorkLift Locking FastGun Turnbuckles # TLS9529-2-LK page, you can see most of them are at an angle. It's perfectly normal. Are you running any suspension enhancement on your Silverado?

Install looks great, Megan! Especially for it only taking two hours! They were moving. : ) Happy we confirmed what you found as well. Tie downs can be a pain in the rear with all the options out there. Now I do have to ask though, have you guys thought about any kind of suspension enhancement for the rear axle? It's a little hard to tell, but it looks like the back is sagging a bit in your last picture.

A year later and I would not do anything different. Absolutely the best system available especially paired with the fast guns. The camper is solid mounted and does not move. Yet can still be off loaded in just a few minutes. Remember good stuff isn’t cheap and cheap stuff isn’t good.
