What's up everybody It's AJ with etrailer.com Today we're going to be checking out some Rhino-Rack, HD bar accessories. This is gonna be the ladder rack peg. This one's going be five and a quarter inches. We also have the eight and a quarter inches up front, and these are going to be a good thing to be able to slide back and forth on your bar. Get them set up for your ladder, and even use them as a tie down point like we're doing right here. Let's check it out.
Looking more towards the front, you can see the eight and a quarter pegs, and we have them set up to kind of guide the ladder as we push it up onto the bars it'll go in between those. Now it can't slide back and forth. Now you're still going to have to tie it down. You can't just leave it up there with the pegs. So that's why we got the cam buckle strap, and ran that through, and used the eyelets up top to tie it down.
If you look down, underneath the eyelets, we have the rubber eye section. That way, when we go to rub the ladder against it, push it up on top, it's not going to scratch the ladder or mess up the pegs. I'm gonna show you how easy it is to loosen up and move the eyelets back and forth. So if I just twist it, that'll loosen it, and we can slide it wherever we need. So if I wanted to put it more over here, let's say, or adding something else that's taking up more space, move it here, tighten it down.
Don't need any tools, I really like that. That way, you don't have to climb up here with anything else other than the actual peg that you want to get it tightened down into the track, outside it, out the track and show you how it works. This is what catches underneath and what's tightened down. It's also nice that it comes with this plate. You can see the markings on that plate where we tighten it down.
So it's not digging. So this bolt's not digging straight up into the bar. So it's not going to damage or scratch it. It actually hits this plate instead. I think the ladder pegs are going to be a really good accessory to add to your HD bars. I like how easy they're used. You don't have to use any tools with it. You can easily move them wherever you need to be. So whatever you're hauling on here, and you want use them as stoppers. They are easily moved, and you can shift things around and fit whatever you want up on your roof. Well, I think that does it. Thanks for hanging out, and hope this helped..
