This hitch looks like it came from the factory, incredible value. I did the complete installation in 3hrs 15min, alone, and taking water breaks lol. I recommend asking someone to help with the lifting parts, was a little challenging alone.

Install on an 2023 Audi Q5 was not bad. Hard part was taking the bummer off but doable. Tip for using paper towels on the captured nuts worked perfectly.

2022 Audi Q5
The included instructions are helpful, and we also found the install video for a different hitch (same car) that helped a ton. Patience is key. Getting the bumper back on without any trimming was possible, but it was definitely not easy. Glad I had another person helping me. All in all, the installation was smooth with only three minor hiccups: the hitch fouled on a muffler shield (used pliers to slightly bend to not be an issue), the instructions didn’t mention disconnecting two wires (the video did, and was very easy with video instructions), and getting the bumper over the hitch without trimming was very tricky and took some effort to flex the bumper around it. Ultimately, the instructions and video did help immensely and I was pleased with the install and process.
I was pleased that this hitch in particular did not replace the crash bar.

The product arrived quickly, and is exactly what I ordered. I watched a video on [online] to help me with the install, and even though it was labeled "Difficult", with the video it was no problem. The final product fits and looks great, and will help me pull my trailer.

It’s a very heavy-duty hitch that fit perfectly on my 2020 Audi Q5. I did by myself, but I should have waited for help. It would have been easier with someone else to hold up one side, but I got ‘er done.

2018 Audi Q5
Solid hitch and nice construction. [online] video instruction are a huge help figuring out how to remove the bumper. My biggest tips are 1) make sure you have a magnet to grab the recessed nuts and 2) when reattaching the recessed nuts, put a piece of paper towel in the socket before placing the nut in the socket. This gives it enough tension so that is doesn’t fall out before you can get it threaded onto the bolt. Specifically for my 2018 Q5, I could not figure out how to get the bumper reattached without trimming the facia. Frankly, it doesn’t even look possible with the 2018 model year. The instruction are lacking in this area. They only tell you to perform the same steps in reverse order. Thankfully, there are instruction on how to trim the facia on [online] and it was pretty simple with a pair of tin snips. Total install took about 2 hours.

Taking the Q5 bumper wasn’t the easiest thing and you definitely should have a magnetic or long socket wrench, but installing the hitch receiver was super easy, best with 2 people since it’s heavy and hard to hold in place and bolt back in at the same time.
